i felt very positive and at home when we arrived at this hotel. Staff are friendly and helpful. We were upgraded to a beach view which is well worth the extra you would normally pay. The rooms are very clean and spacious. Situated right opposite the beach, tea and coffee facilities are included. We only stayed here 1 night to see in the new Year. Would definitely stay again. Lovely hotel

Room Tip: Ask for beach view

After 4 nights in a hotel in Hanoi where firstly we were upgraded and then experienced superb customer relations, facilities, cleanliness, friendliness and more this was a big let down. It is clear this hotel is geered towards conference, wedding or function guests and not visitors from overseas. No help offered with our luggage which was a lot as we are travelling for 2 months. Room the furthest away so we had to negotiate a very slow lift, lots of corridors and steps before we got there single handed. Room was adequate. No safe which came as a big surprise. No complimentary water, fruit, robes, shower gel. Had to ask for more shampoo every day as this was not replenished. Also more coffee sachets. The drinking glasses were ignored and not changed until I asked for clean ones. One morning 2 dirty pillowcases were left on the floor of the room. Staff not helpful in assisting us with how to get around d by public transport and were in fact misleading in how to buy and use the very complicated and ridiculous Myki card. No personal contact with us despite being there for 4 nights. We were seemingly anonymous. The management could learn a lot from Hanoi and that hotel was half the price! I do wonder if the dead flower arrangement on the upstairs landing has been changed yet?

The reception staff were fabulous and welcoming with plenty of info and what was around for dinner/breakfast. Stayed in a sea view room which is not a bad size. The windows needed a good clean but being across the road from the beach would almost be a daily job. The carpet and curtains were in need of a good clean too. The bed was quite comfortable but we didn't have very comfy pillows. They provide free parking which is under the motel with a height restriction of about 2m

Rooms are a lot smaller than pictured on the net and beds are quite hard. Beware walls are thin like paper. In room dining very little selection, don't ask for a fruit platter because they don't have one. Kitchen closes at 10pm. Then to find out they had a conference on a Friday and two weddings on the same night being a Saturday. Our room was right above the venue, music sooooo loud. Then both bridal parties were checked into the rooms either side of us, I'll leave the rest to your imagination. Very noisey and busy. Beware you'll be told to park down the street whilst they have the functions on. Mind you the sign outside the car park says GUESTS ONLY.

Location location. Amazing water views. Close to main shoping strip. Great restaurants. Newly refurbished and very clean. For a quite getaway mid week stay recommended.

Sadly won't be back.

The hotel has a great location and easy walking to Church Street, the 'main street' where you can get your morning coffee. While the outlook and the in-house resturant is fantastic, I think some of the hotel staff could do with a refresher course in FRIENDLY customer service. Your customers are humans, not machines. That said, there was a couple that were particularly helpful. Food in the restaurant was very good. The room is nice however I felt a little like I was stuffed away in a storeroom with an outlook into a jail courtyard. Very clean and well appointed.
