We came for lunch after a visit to the hill town of Perugia. Our friends who live in Umbria recommended this restaurant and we were not disappointed. The outside setting is so lovely and the owners are friendly and helpful. I had the gnocchi with burrata and it was out of this world. The potato gnocchi was so light it practically melted in my mouth. It had a very subtle tomato sauce and smack dab in the middle was a ball of burrata. The combination was just incredible!

We learned that this family run restaurant is a relatively new venture and has now been running for about a year. We were able to eat in the garden. All the dishes were good but I particularly enjoyed an octopus cooked whole in an excellent sauce.

For me, an awesome 5 star restaurant us when everyone's order tastes amazing and you feel satisfied that you had enough to eat.

Sincerely the good plates we had were very good, but out of 4 plates we tried (2 primi, 2 secondi), 1 primo & 1 secondo was very boring/bland/tasteless/badly cooked.
And the portions are tiny & so we left hungry.
Maybe the cook had a bad day, but for us, it just didn't meet expectations
Then came the bill, it's not that cheap.
I wish we would be offered a "digestivo" or something, but that was not the case either.

Five-course spectacular dinner with wonderful service and a lovely setting for approximately $35-40 euros. Highly recommend this restaurant! The food was flavorful and interesting! A delightfully memorable meal!
