We arrived after a slow drive from Kochi, we were tired and hungry and ready for a good nights sleep. The welcome we received was warm and welcoming and check in was really quick. The room was very nice, clean, modern and stylish and as we found out the next morning, it also had excellent views over the mountains.
Breakfast was really good and plentiful and the restaurant was nice and clean. The staff were amazing.
The hotel is a quite isolated and there is not a lot going on in Chinnakanal, we took a walk outside, the locals were very friendly, typical of Indian people. I was even invited to try my hand in a shop, serving customers.
The reasons I didnt give Sienna village full marks?
1. We decided to have a massage, to pass the time. The Rooms where the massages took place were less than inspiring, no piped music, no nice smelling candles or incense. just very plain and not so clean rooms.
2. The website clearly states there is a swimming pool, there isn't, if there is, we couldn't find it and when I asked a member of staff where it was, I was told there is no pool.
The reason I chose the hotel over others was for the pool.
Nevertheless the hotel is nice, the staff excellent and the food of a very good standardMore
