From the first moment until the departure the whole experience was wonderful. Artistic design of the buildings, pool, rooms, bathrooms is simply fabulous. Paintings, sinks, dining tables, furniture, accessories are one of a kind. Pool top 10 as advertised. Location, ocean, sunset - all fantastic. And service was just wonderful. Staff was invisible only up to time you needed something, you just your head towards them and they are immediately ready to assist you. Definitely recommend this great hotel!

It was difficult to find a place that would accommodate our family of 17 for lunch on the 1st of the year. Thankfully Ryan was very helpful and welcomed our group for lunch and a visit to their beautiful amazing hotel and restaurant. Breathtaking views and delicious food made this a truly unforgettable experience. Perfect way to start the new year.

We came to this hotel from Turkey after a 20 hour flight. We were invited for a wedding. The service was extraordinary. We could not swim as it was a little bit chilly in December but those friends WHO did commented that there was a little bit too much chlore/disinfectant in the pool water. The beach, the view, the art work in the rooms, the spaciousness of the rooms, the library ;all these add value to the experience. It is only 12 houses and each house has a name. We stayed at Tierra. The front desk personnel _they are georgous. They smile, help and smile.

Lovely, chic resort in the town of Jose Ignacio. Beautiful rooms filled with art and fabulous views of the dramatic pool and ocean. Breakfast is simple but complete. The staff is very accommodating and aims to please. Be sure to spend some time at their sister resorts Bahia Vik and Estancia Vik. Jose Ignacio is filled with wonderful restaurants within walking distance so there is no need for a car unless you want to tour other nearby beach towns or Punta del Este.
