The Green Hotel is the best available in Negele but is still very basic by many standards. The rooms are reasonably clean and the beds fairly comfortable, although only 3/4 in size rather than proper doubles. The bathrooms are adequate at best, although we didn't even risk trying the showers during our stay. You should bring your own soap and towel.
There is no restaurant as such but meals can be organised through intermediaries by getting locally bought food cooked within the kitchens of the hotel.
Drinks are very cheap and the waiter service is extremely attentive particularly if you adopt the local custom of clapping your hands when requiring their services.
Local bird watching is excellent, which is generally the only reason for western visitors to stay here.More
