Given its desert location, it goes without saying that the climate in Giza is hot and dry for most of the year. High temperatures in the summertime average in the 90s and daily low temperatures average in the low 70s. Wintertime daily highs average in the mid to upper 60s and lows average in the low 50s. Precipitation is low throughout the year. The greatest chance for rain is during the winter months of December through March. Even so, monthly precipitation averages well below an inch. Little to no rain falls during the summer months of June through September.

To avoid the extreme temperatures of the summer, you may want to plan your trip to Giza during the early autumn or late springtime months.
