Don Warlick is the owner and the center of this rustic little ranch. His horses are well trained gentle giants that offer enjoyment to seasoned riders and those who are riding for the very first time. Don's life long experience of taining both horses and people is evident right of the bat. He is soft spoken and extreemly adept in matching riders to his horses so that everyone will have the best possible experience on a horse. There are no stringent rules and nose to tail rides, everyone will get as much or as little supervision as they need.
This ranch has a rustic and laid back atmosphere where you are welcome to hang out on the porch to shoot the breeze and pick Don's brain about his horse whispering experience, involvement in historic civil war reinactiments and the many movies/major motion pictures that he and his horse were in.
The many arces provide space for groups like boy/girl scouts, reunions, weddings. The is a great private field that is ideal for camping and bon-fires. A crystal clean Passage Creek to swim in. There is also a bunk house with conveniences that can be rented, it offers a huge kitchen and dining space to host a dinners and such. One is only about 10 miles from all major town conveniences, both Front Royal, Strasburg and Luray VA, but you can feel like you are a million miles away in a secluded valley.
