Light (white) water canoe trips on the Shenandoah River, Fly-rod trout fishing in Jeremy's Run, cruising the Skyline Drive this is a scenic route ontop of the mountains. Waterfalls, hiking and horseback riding also on the Skyline Drive. Several subterranean caverns to tour in the area, Luray Caverns,Endless Caverns , and Natural Bridge Caverns. Small town antiquing, gift shopping, also a few good places to dine, with a view. For History Buffs, some Civil War Battlefields nearby, a local old Covered Bridge near Mt. Jackson.
