Borth beach is on the Cardigan Bay coast between the Dyfi estuary and the town of Aberystwyth and stretches almost three miles to Ynyslas; it is excellent for swimming and surfing. The town has several cafes, pubs and small shops.
Just in front of the cottage beyond the sea wall is the Petrified Forest, a landmark of Borth and visible at low tide.
Dolphins are regularly spotted in the bay.

The KITCHEN / DINING ROOM has fitted units, electric oven with ceramic hob, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and microwave oven.
The dining area has a circular dining table and 5 chairs.
A door leads from the kitchen to the patio and garden.
The UTILITY ROOM has a washing machine and tumble dryer .
There is also access to the INTEGRAL GARAGE with storage space for surf boards etc.
There is a DOWNSTAIRS BEDROOM with zip'n'link 2'6 beds to make a 5' king this room will be made up as singles unless specified otherwise.
There is an en-suite SHOWER ROOM with shower, WC and hand basin.
The FAMILY BATHROOM has a suite of Bath with shower over and hand basin.
There is an adjacent CLOAKROOM with a WC.
Upstairs there are two more bedrooms and the sitting room.
BEDROOM 2 has a sea view and a 5' king size bed (which could be split to 2 x 2'6? singles on request) bedside tables with lamps, built in wardrobe and corner dressing table.
BEDROOM 3 has a 3' single bed, bedside chest of drawers with lamp and wardrobe.
The SITTING ROOM has glorious sea views over the sea wall, a stone feature fireplace and is stylishly furnished with comfortable sofa, easy chairs, glass coffee table, occasional furniture, TV and DVD player.
Garden and Parking
There is a small walled forecourt at the front of the property and a large patio and enclosed/gated level garden to the rear.
Garden furniture is provided.
Roadside parking for 1 in the garage and plenty of roadside parking available.
Other Information
There are modern electric panel heaters throughout.
Fuel is included in the rental from May to September and charged at a flat rate of £35 per week from October to April inclusive, this is payable when booking.
A cot, highchair and stairgate can be supplied on request.
Up to two well behaved dogs are welcome but must be kept downstairs (not the bedroom).
All the beds will be made up with fresh linen for your arrival.
Towels are available to hire at £5 per guest.
WiFi enabled.
No smoking.
Relaxing, peaceful, quite location right next to the beach.
We loved the cottage, very nicely decorated, and equipped with everything you need. Having the garages as well is an added bonus.
If we are back in this area we will definitely be back to this cottage.

Fabulous
Maybe November but away for a golfing holiday. Lovely and cosy after a damp day on the golf course. Played Llandrindod Wells on the way here - now looking forward to Aberdovey, Borth and Aberystwyth. Great location and very comfortable accomodation. Couldn’t ask for better.

Perfect Cottage & Location to Escape to!
Booked this as an impromptu long weekend to escape from the madness, and we couldn't have chosen anywhere better. The cottage has everything you require for a comfortable stay, and is very clean and well presented. It is in a perfect location with stunning views of the sea and everything you need within walking distance. The fish and chip shop near the Railway Inn does great food as did the local tandoori close by. We had a couple of quick drinks in the Railway Inn and the staff were very friendly, as were the locals, they made us feel very welcome, as well as our dog!
We ventured along the coast in both directions and can recommend going to Ynyslas for a great beach and walk amongst the sand-dunes. We also went to New Quay and were very lucky to be treated with a view of the dolphins playing in the bay.
The owners of the cottage are very helpful and friendly and we will definitely be returning next year!

Cosy cottage by the sea
Lovely comfortable cottage, well equipped, fantastic location, brilliant view of the sea from lounge window to watch the sunsets. Good base for going off exploring mid wales. Cottage was exactly as described. Thank you to the owners for letting us stay. Would love to book again in the future.

Lovely cottage in a great location
We have just returned from a super break in Borth. The cottage has been beautifully refurbished to give very comfortable accommodation with all mod cons. The views and the garden are a bonus. We found plenty to do in Borth and Aberystwyth although many an hour was just spent sitting in the bay window with the fantastic view of the beach and the bay. Am sure we will return. Many thanks.

Perfect location for a family holiday close to the beach
We really enjoyed our stay during October half term. It was literally a hop and skip to the beach at Borth. Wonderful to be so close to the sea with amazing views from the lounge, which is on the second floor. The house is very spacious and comfortable, with everything you need, plus a huge back garden for a kick around and was ideal for a family of four. An extra person could also have stayed as there was a spare single room.
we enjoyed visits to Aberystwyth and ate out there a lot and went here for our supermarket shop. Great footpath runs along the beach ideal for running.
ideally located for visiting interesting sights. Highly recommended. Lovely interior.

Lovely cottage in a lovely Welsh little seaside town.
A lovely cottage, spacious and everything you needed, very well equipped. Wonderful views of the sea to dolphin spot, binoculars provided! Borth is a lovely peaceful town. Had some great day trips out to other Welsh towns, all with lovely drives within an hour of Borth. Loved the beaches at Borth and Ynyslas (great for Dogs). Highly recommend this cottage and Borth.😀
