The house makes the island experience even better. The staff are friendly, helpful and make great meals. The location on the island is right where you want to be. The views are the number one amenity.

I cannot over emphasise how amazing our stay at La Chaudieres was. The location is stunning, with views over the beach, the rainforest covered mountains, the local fishing villages. It is honestly breathtaking. If you can tear your eyes away from the surroundings, the house itself is wonderful. Sitting in the hammock, or relaxing at the multitude of different seating areas, you can't fail to relax. The beds are super comfy and the rooms are spacious. There are some reviews which suggest the property is a bit tired, which I don't agree with. Sure the bathrooms need updating, but that's such a minor element, I only mention it to defend previous comments. If you're looking for modern pristine, go to Sandals and enjoy an anonymous holiday. If you want luxury in St Lucia, look no further. But beyond the stunning views and the lovely house, this place is all about the people. Christy is the most phenomenal cook. Every meal was a joy and an adventure. Cushelle, who cooks breakfast, Lenny, the driver, Hillary the security guy, they felt like family, like friends for our stay. Although we were in a very plush environment, we truly felt like we were getting to know St Lucia, the food, the people, the culture. I cannot recommend this property highly enough. Just thanks for a wonderful, much needed holiday. It was awesome.

I have been vacationing for over 25 yrs now. This property is not suitable for guests to stay while they are on vacation. 1. Bathrooms-needs to be updated/non functioning shower heads/ no hot water/smells. 2.NO A/C-sleeping at night especially was terrible/bugs crawling all over the room. There are mice and mice droppings on the floor. We are so bitten up by all sorts of insects. Huge unusual Marks left on our body especially my children. INiw I have to take them to a doctor. My family including myself did not get a good nights rest for our ten days of stay. 3. The house is very dusty and needs a complete deep cleaning and upgrade. 4. The outside of this property is beautiful/still needs some changes for safety, especially if traveling with small children. The outdoors furniture is infested with droppings from the insects, bats and rats etc…therefore, there was no place to lay down and relax and no TV. The Panasonic view is breathtaking. One thing that kept us from leaving during our stay was the wonderful staff. The property manager-excellent service and she prepared some delicious meals for our family. Very friendly and treated us with respect. Always willing to help. Hillary kept the outdoors very clean during our stay. Also, with trips ideas. Overall, this property should not be listed to rent while a family is on vacation. It is not worth the money asked per night and the living condition. It can make you ill because of all the bits and droppings from the bats, rats and who knows what else. I really wish the owners can take the time and reevaluate this home not just to collect visitors hard earned money and not providing quality service for their guests.

Breathtaking ocean views from every angle, private beach access, gracious and accommodating staff, and delicious meals made our stay unforgettable!!

Our family of five had a wonderful week at the house. The views are absolutely amazing! The house is a little run-down, but everything is functional and clean. Christy's meals were excellent and it was great not having to worry about anything! Kashelle’s breakfasts were great and she cleaned our rooms and did our laundry! It was great to have Lenny to drive us anywhere, since we couldn’t rent a car. I would definitely recommend this property, just bring bug spray and plenty of cash!

We were 3 families. We really enjoyed everything about the property. The adventurous walk to the beach and incredible views from the house. Plenty of games and toys for the kids to play with or get creative with. The best part was Christy and her cooking! She is a love and the food was outstanding! Would highly recommend if you are looking for a chill out relaxed vaca. We ventured out and did a few things, but we mostly stayed at the house because a little challenging to go out about to do things. Not much was nearby. Besides that, it was just an awesome vaca.

This was our second time visiting the villa and it was just as wonderful as the first. We cannot say enough about Christy, Kichelle, and Hillary. They are the best. The villa and accompanying views are breathtaking along with the fun of having a resident cat, Precious and dog, Piton. We are already looking forward to our return trip.

The best vacation of our lives! The property is amazing. From the outdoor seating area to the pool to the views. When you are staring at the sunset over the ocean, don't forget to turn around and see the beautiful mountains. The people were a big part of our experience as well. Christy treated us like family. The meals were 5 star. We did explore the island quite a bit with our driver and new friend Lenny. What a beautiful island.

We stayed July 7-14, 2018. The views and the hospitality of the staff were exceptional. A week of adult time and being taken care of ruined us for weeks upon return... it was difficult to adult once home. LOL. Thank you for the wonderful stay (minus the no-see-ums) - we will return one day!

First, and most positively, the view from the home was absolutely stunning. It is the most beautiful view we have ever had on any of our Caribbean experiences. We have been to the Caribbean now, 11 times and have had many varying degrees of beauty to enjoy. This view was by far the most outstanding. So, that is why we are so absolutely disappointed that the once incredible home is increasingly tattered and unloved. Christy, the chef, was the best thing you have at Les Chaudieres. She is an excellent cook and cares deeply about creating a grand experience for her guests and is absolutely loyal to the owner's father and his efforts. She was the best asset the home has to offer. Kashell (spelling) was a delight. She took excellent care of us, as well. She is absolutely reliable, kind, and caring for her guests. If the food preparation wasn’t an added amenity, the trip would have been a total bust for us. House at Les Chaudieres (condition) Holes in the roof where rain came through in many places 2 Broken Chaise Lounges 2 cushions instead of 4 Broken and inoperable tan umbrella at upper table Stereo System inoperable The Bluetooth speaker was a bonus. Chandelier over Dining Table not operable (Cristy used a little lantern and hung it on the chandelier) Bathrooms are in ill repair and ancient old. Need updating Rust stains in the toilets Pool and Bowl need to be repainted and tile needs cleaned or replaced Kitchen outdated, but operable for Christy. Wifi doesn’t work in the master bedroom. No air conditioning anywhere at the home. We enjoyed excursions on the island and took a lot of the property owner's suggestions for dining and spa days. Nearby Ti Kaye was a life saver for enjoying the beach and dining out. Overall, we would not rebook this property but found the island to be beautiful. Christy and Kashell were professional, but Hillary is the "butler" and is he not an ambassador for the property or the island of St. Lucia. 2 star property, 4 star island, 5 star service
