We booked Valhalla for a family party locally and it was absolutely perfect. The facilities in the house were great, the kitchen is well-equipped and the rooms very comfortable. We were lucky to have beautiful weather and the garden was ideal.

The house is 2 minutes away from the main street with all its amenities ie shops, pubs, restaurants, harbour, river, local walks, golf course, river fishing, local museum and art gallery Timespan.
Getting around
Helmsdale is a small village so if you wish to stay local there is no need for a car. If you wish to explore further afield the village has a train station (Helmsdale) and a regular bus service. Both can take you either north to Wick or south to Inverness taking in all the coastal villages en route. However a car will allow access to all those amazing places off the beaten track that are worth going to.
