This was our second stay here ..we visited last year and had to return. The cottage is beautifully decorated and set in a lovely position in the heart of Appledore. Carrie the owner was extremely helpful in sorting changes to our booking .
We will definitely return again

This was our fourth year at Margaret Cottage. As usual, we had a great week in the cottage, which has a brilliant location on the quayside. Having a dedicated car parking spot right outside makes a huge difference to the convenience of your holiday.
It was a lot busier than previous years as the coffee shop and pizza restaurants have both put tables and chairs on the quayside, but it didn’t bother us much.
This year we were impressed with the extra effort made regarding cleanliness, with lots of hand sanitizer and anti viral spray available in the cottage.
Hoping to be back in 2021!

We just had our 4th stay at Margaret Cottage. Another perfect week in Appledore. The cottage is very well appointed and right on the quayside, with a car parking space which is pretty rare in Appledore! We were lucky to have amazing weather for the time of year, and enjoyed beautiful walks every day. Great coming out of season, a lot quieter than 'our usual' week at the end of August. Highly recommend Margaret Cottage!

A really lovely cottage. Lots of welcoming touches that made us feel right at home. We had the worst May weather in 25 years, so spent lots of time in the cottage, chilling out and watching movies. Will definitely return
