Quebec is a delightful character cottage located on the waters edge in the pretty fishing village of Appledore. Wonderful views over the Taw and Torridge Estuary and out to sea can be enjoyed from the open plan living/dining room which leads out onto the fully enclosed patio that enjoy the same special views. Steep stairs lead up to the first and second floors typical for a cottage of this age. On the second floor you can wake up to wonderful views of the estuary through the large picture window of the small but delightful master bedroom that benefits from ensuite facilities. Two further bedrooms and a family shower room are on the first floor. All the facilities of Appledore are within a short stroll with a selection of character inns, cafes, galleries and individual shops to be found a... The popular seaside resort and surfing beach of Westward Ho! is only a 10 minute drive whilst there is so much more to explore in this beautiful part of North Devon including large sandy surfing beaches, a rugged coastline with dramatic cliffs and coastal walks, picturesque villages and peaceful rural tranquillity.

Size: sleeps 6 in 3 bedrooms

Beds: 1 double with ensuite bathroom, 1 compact double. 1 twin bedded

Rooms: Ground floor: Kitchen, Living/dining room. Home from home with fantastic views
This is our second stay at this fabulous cottage located right on the estuary with stunning views. Everything needed for a comfortable stay is provided and the welcome hospitality pack of chocolates, biscuits and a handy pint of milk was very welcome. The cottage itself is spotlessly clean and well cared for. Both interior and exterior had been redecorated since our last stay. On arrival, although you are unable to park outside permanently, the road is wide enough to park and unload the car, leaving space for other car users to pass. The cottage is only a stones throw away from the high street in one direction and the gorgeous Northam Burrows in the other. Staying here and relaxing when we returned at the end of each day was made much more enjoyable by being able to sit on the patio watching the boats and tide with a glass of something nice. Can highly recommend it.
