Great ground floor 2 bedroom apartment situated in the picturesque fishing village of Port Seton in Scotland’s Golf Coast county of East Lothian. This lovely apartment is the perfect seaside retreat set in a great location with amazing views from both the kitchen and lounge, directly overlooking the promenade and the Firth of Forth. Several beaches and the harbour are all within walking distance. Recently redecorated, it offers a warm and comfortable space with a generous sized separate kitchen which has a breakfast table with 4 chairs and is fully equipped with everything you will need during your vacation. Amenities - Electric central heating and electric fire. Electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, washing machine, clothes drying rack, iron and ironing board, lounge... There is a family bathroom with WC, Basin and Bath with overhead shower. At the front of the property there is a small private seated terrace and free parking space right outside the front door. Location The apartment is set in a great location from which you can explore Scotland’s Golf Coast with it’s many varied visitor attractions and sandy beaches. The Seabird Centre at North Berwick, Tantallon Castle and The John Muir Way which is popular with cyclists and walkers are but a few of the internationally renowned places to visit in the immediate area plus you can be in the heart of Edinburgh in less than 14 minutes by train from Prestonpans Station which is approx. 2 miles away.More

About the neighbourhood
The village of Port Seton is co-joined to Cockenzie and is situated on the Southern shore of the Firth of Forth just 12 miles from Edinburgh. East Lothian is a great place to explore with many traditional seaside villages like Portobello, Gullane and North Berwick close by. There are several beaches within walking distance of the apartment which over-looks part of the famous and historic John Muir Way, popular with walkers and cyclists. Set in an ideallic location to relax and unwind and super close to supermarket and takeaway food but in a lovely quiet spot with a variety of shops, the harbour and beaches all within walking distance. Bus stop 2 minutes walk.
Getting around
Port Seton is easily accessed from the A1 (approx. 2 miles away) and is on the main bus route to Edinburgh with a frequent bus service. The No.26 bus will take you into the centre of Edinburgh in approx. 45 minutes, pending traffic conditions. When returning, make sure you use the No.26 to Seton Sands and not the 26 to Tranent! Prestonpans Train Station is a mere 8 minute drive away or a 30 minute walk and will get you into Edinburgh Waverley Station in roughly 15 minutes. Port Seton is about 45 minutes by car or taxi from Edinburgh Airport and 45 minutes from Edinburgh city centre by bus.
