Welcoming pleasant staff at out-of-the-way Resort
We made a last-minute booking at Valle Fiorita through Interval International despite the fairly mediocre reviews. The guest house is in a village in a beautiful National Park, and we were the only non-Italian guests, most of whom were time-share owners who come annually for R & R. The unit we stayed in (207) was adequate, up 3 flights of stairs with no lift and facing the street. We were kept awake at night by the loud talking of other guests! The management was flexible and arranged for us to arrive and leave a day early to suit our needs. Maria & Nadia spoke excellent English. As 1st time visitors to the area, we found the hotel far from most attractions (ie Naples, Amalfi coast, etc) and spent a lot of time on the road just getting to destinations. Because of our dietary restrictions, we did not use the restaurant and found the small local supermarket rather limlited in provisions. If you want to heat water for coffee or tea in your room, bring your own electric kettle!
