Cabin Holiday Rental
Our log cabin in Wales, set in the picturesque heart of Snowdonia's National Park, is perfect for your self catering family holiday. The Norwegian pine log cabin has PVC windows, is well insulated, and offers to you a warm, welcome change from the usual holiday cottage, bed and breakfast, caravan or camping trip. You can sit on the balcony and look over the mountains to the front, with a private terrace and open countryside to the rear. Because our cabin sits at the top of the Village we have fabulous panoramic views during the day, but as there are no street lamps there is no light pollution which means on a clear night, the night sky is breath taking. Ideal for any astronomers or star watchers among you. Ample off road parking. There is a comprehensive shop on site and a laundry room...Our log cabin in Wales, set in the picturesque heart of Snowdonia's National Park, is perfect for your self catering family holiday. Because our cabin sits at the top of the Village we have fabulous panoramic views during the day, but as there are no street lamps there is no light pollution which means on a clear night, the night sky is breath taking. Ideal for any astronomers or star watchers among you. Ample off road parking. There is a comprehensive shop on site and a laundry room. The shop / Office offers free internet and in addition, when the office is closed the WiFi is left on and can be accessed from outside but within a limited distance. We would also point out that due to the surrounding mountains mobile telephone signals can some times be erratic as can television. Our cabin is pet friendly. We will allow you to bring two dogs with you. There is a dog walking area within the village, other wise your dogs must be kept on a lead. The Rhiw Goch Inn provides excellent restaurant facilities and is a 10 minute walk or 2 minute car journey from the cabin, with panoramic views over the mountains from the beer garden and a childrens play area. The whole area is famed for walking and the nearby Coed y Brennin Forest is a centre of excellence for those wishing to go mountain biking, Incorporating Go Ape. Coedy Brennin is perfect for the whole family, not just for mountain bikers, but for walks and picnics too, and ALL only 3 miles down the road. The nearest beach is at Barmouth which is about 20 minutes away. Barmouth has everything for a family day out, including bars and restaurants for the adults and arcades and a funfair for the kids, as well as miles of safe sandy beach. You can buy a line and bucket and go 'crabbin' of the end of the jetty, or take a boat trip across to the other side of the bay. Our spacious log cabin sleep six in three bedrooms between one double room and two bunks. The bunk beds comfortably sleep adults and children alike. Each with heating and storage. Along with a fitted, fully equipped kitchen, and shower room. YOU WILL NEED TO BRING, Quilt covers and pillow cases and any bed linen, quilts and pillows are provided along with extra blankets. Plus personal towels and toiletries. If you intend doing any catering then a pot cloth and towel, washing up liquid and oven gloves will be handy. You might also like to bring a bath mat for stepping out of the shower. Access to the cabin is by way of a key safe which is situated on the wall adjacent to the front door. The code will be sent to you by e-mail when your booking is confirmed. As there are no street lights, it is advisable to take a torch with you to enable you to enter the combination especially when it is dark. At the conclusion of your stay we ask that you replace the key back in the safe to enable our cleaners to access the property. More
