Located in the charming pueblita of Playa La Bocana, Villa Aventura provides both security and privacy, while being in the heart of a real Mexican community. This place is really WOW, uncommon, it is like a "little heaven". It is peaceful and quiet, mixed with the sights and sounds of nature. Once you step into the property through the beautiful gated entrance, you can immediately sense a strange feeling of privacy and belonging; tropical flowers and exotic fruit trees all along the stairs.
My husband and I first rented Villa Aventura last July 2018 for 3 weeks; honestly, we wished we had a longer stay, since we had found “our little heaven on earth.” So now we have the villa and casita (Casa Charlotte) rented for 5 weeks next summer. Last time it was just us, but we plan to invite family and friends this time. The property is so spacious, that one has plenty of room for privacy when needing “alone time.” Both the villa and the casita have everything you need!
Villa Aventura is a new property, and we were among the first to use it. The amazing “chef’s kitchen” was a favorite of ours, as we both like to cook and entertain; it did not lack for anything. We wished our kitchen at home was that spacious and well-appointed.
The bedrooms were all very comfortable, and we used both master bedrooms in the villa and casita, clean towels and bed sheets were offered. The pool area was spectacular, providing shaded areas all day, and sun when needed. Special towels for the pool and the beach were provided. The pool is large and deep enough to remain cool and refreshing even in the summer, unlike some dip pools at other condos and hotels we’ve experienced. We especially enjoyed sunning ourselves in the pool’s built-in lounges.
Among a number of amenities, the property offers use of a cell phone with unlimited calls to North America. We were able to be in contact with my husband’s family.
One of the special features that Villa Aventura offers is its immediate proximity to a pristine beach. Only a two-minute walk to the beach, we could swim in the ocean anytime without the inconvenience of needing to drive there. Playa la Bocana is a favorite of those who know and visit Huatulco, and it certainly is now our favorite. It has the right balance of natural beauty with its towering sandstone cliffs and wide sugar-sand beach, with amenities like mud baths and two local beach-side restaurants; all without the annoyances experienced at some other beaches. There is river at the base of a Mixtec eco-archaeological site, dating back to 500 BC, and museum located on the cliffs above. We were told there are over 450 varieties of birds that inhabit along the river.
Lucky for us, what we found in Villa Aventura was far more than we could have expected.
