You have no worries about not having it all in this unit and the complex. The AC, which at some other resorts in other locations, was a little wonky, but NOT here. There is separate AC controls for the living/dining room and each bedroom and functions very, very well. Heed the advice in the joining instructions, and when you go out, turn it off. We didn't and paid dearly for that over our 14 day stay. ($200 USD) Our bad! At the very least, I'd recommend at least turning off the living/dining room AC at night. In the early morning, with the patio doors and main door open the cross-breeze is perfect, until about 1030 when it gets to be 30 C. The beds, pillows, couch and chairs were comfy with no issues. The balcony is massive with plenty of chairs and the couch, and HOT, even in the shade of the patio umbrella, so if you're after heat, its there. The appliances all worked fine, except the garbarator, which was being replaced when we departed, but not a issue for us. The unit's utensils, kitchen ware, and, well everything, was well appointed and we needed NOT a thing. Beach access was a bit of a hike if you're hauling all the required gear, but great exercise, especially the steep incline back to the condo unit. Be early to get the two swinging covered love seats at the beach, as the rest of the chairs have no shade unless you pull them into the bushes. If you want to sit at the little patio umbrella tables at the beach, owned by the squatter restaurant/bar operators, you need to be aware of the prices and what change you're owed back. The one and only time we went there, the waitress "added" what she felt was the gratuity owed, and only returned the change after a couple prompts from me. Take small bills and of course tip, but consider not bringing your larger denominations. The beer is cold and relatively inexpensive having said the previous. The food looked fine and others at the complex said it was fine and reasonably priced for pub grub. As it says in the info, the beach is a public beach and many locals attend to add a legitimate local flavor to the location. No downside there at all. Like most every local in Huatulco, the security folks at the main gate are friendly and most helpful in every way. One of our party of four (yes it was I) somehow (??) left my iPhone in a cab we took from the gate into Huatulco. I didn't realize that for about 15 minutes later, and ran back to the Centro (main square) in hopes the same cab was still there. Ha! It was not to be. A nearby restaurant manager, from Grillo's (highly recommended) immediately saw me talking to the cab drivers at that stand and came to the rescue. Long story short the manager had me return to the security gate at the complex, where, he told me, they have a record of every taxi unit number picking up and dropping off their guests, they called the original taxi, who returned to the gate with my iPhone. After this, I noted the taxi unit numbers we used in my phone, assuming I'd not be so stupid to lose it in another! On the subject of taxi's, they are cheap and we were glad we didn't waste money on a rental car. $3.00-$4.00 CDN for local trips can't be beat. There were several great pools in the condo complex and ample lounge chairs and shade, so pick your favorite. Obviously, we'd highly recommend this unit or anywhere in the condo complex. It was a fine place to call home for a couple weeks of fine vacationing. Erin, the property manager, was top drawer, and is bent on customer service as a priority. We'd go back again without question.
