This beautiful ocean side villa sits just south of Isla's downtown, making it a very short walk to the many great restaurants and bars in the downtown district. It offers both the serenity of a private villa on the Caribbean, and easy access into town and beautiful North Beach. There is also a sea-promenade (Malecon) which begins at your backdoor and leads into the center of town, winding along the Caribbean ...great for walks, jogging, or a bike ride!
Listen to the sounds of the waves right outside your bedroom windows, and awaken to the beautiful sunrise over the ocean. En Suite MB has a king bed, an over sized window to take full advantage of the breathtaking views, and a slider to back patio overlooking the ocean. The 2nd BR has two queen beds as well as a slider onto the patio overlooking the ocean. Both bedrooms have beautiful glass doors opening to a circular patio overlooking the Caribbean. During the summer months, you will see giant sea turtles laying their eggs at night on the beach right behind the house. In the morning see the craters and flipper tracks left by them overnight!
The open concept living area, with additional futon and L-shape sofa, not only opens to the circular patio overlooking the Caribbean, but also to a beautiful front veranda, which overlooks the Bay of Cancun and it's picturesque sailboats and sunsets
Although you can easily access all that Isla has to offer by foot or by inexpensive taxi, the home has a full size garage should you choose to rent a golf cart.

We had a lovely time at Casa Cielo with our two little girls. The location was optimal; within a short walk to all the action of Playa Norte, yet just outside the noise, at a narrow point in the island where we had water views on both sides of the villa, catching sunrises and sunsets. We enjoyed how spacious it was - easily could have fit much more than our 4 - and the air conditioning in each room was great. Our girls loved the colourful decor. We enjoyed exploring the shore/beach in behind looking for shells and creatures. Loved the beautiful sunrises from the back. Didn't get to use the rooftop patio & bar as much as we would have liked, but it was beautiful for the sunsets and looking out over the bay & Cancun. The villa was also fully stocked, with chairs that could be taken to the beach, books, beach towels, beach toys, kitchen stuff, etc, which was a nice surprise. Highly recommend to all.

What a wonderful place to stay! The rooms are large and there are lots of places to be and be peaceful. The roof, the patios, the pink couches, crawling back in bed for a siesta......
The kitchen had everything we needed for simple cooking. We were provided a lot of towels. The air conditioning worked very well during a heat wave. We took two day trips, one for many hours to Xcaret, and loved coming home to "our house." In our rush to get out of the house by check out and meet our driver, I regret I forgot to tip the housekeepers, who had left the house spotless for us. I remembered a few days later....
Overall, we came during a hot week and the blue casa was a welcoming oasis. It felt luxurious with a rooftop getaway, huge showers, very comfortable beds. The views are out of this world and I could not stop videotaping the sound of the waves on the Caribbean side, the patio is a dream. I brought a lot of my kids and we sunburned our first day at North Beach as we spent too much time there, the rest of our trip we spent the hot afternoon in our cool blue house and went out for dinner and to the plaza and shops. I can't wait to return.

Casa Cielo was AWESOME!!!
We loved staying at Casa Cielo!!! It was such a great place to stay. Centrally located and yet secluded away from everything. It was stocked with the essentials needed to make your own meals if needed. It did not disappoint! Very comfy and the views were spectacular!!! We enjoyed waking up to a Caribbean sunrise!! We will definitely stay here again in the future!! Thanks again Robin and your staff at Capi's for a fabulous stay!!

Great place overlooking the ocean
We found Casa Cielo to be a great spot with lots of room for our family of four. It is a serviceable kitchen and the whole place is tidy. I would say most people should plan to rent bikes or gold cart to be able to explore the island from this location.

Wonderful place to stay!
My family and I just enjoyed a wonderful stay at Casa Cielo in Isla Mujeres Mexico. We have stayed in a few other places on the island in the past but none as comfy cozy as Casa Cielo! The home was lovely and the views were breathtaking! Just having all the creature comforts of home made our stay so much better! It is only a short golf cart ride to everything. You can easily walk too if you are feeling energetic. We spent our days on Playa Norte beach where Jose was our waiter and I might add, outstanding ! We dined out most nights and found Bally Hoo to be our favorite restaurant/bar and they had the best and biggest margaritas I have ever had! If we are fortunate to be able to go back next year and its available, we most assuredly want to stay at Cas Cielo again! Just a final note: The owner, Robin could not have been nicer and more accommodating , even when I bombarded her with email questions before our trip. She emailed me lots of helpful and informative information! Casa Cielo and Isla Mujeres ,a must for any vacation!!!!!

Casa Cielo was fabulous!
Casa Cielo was a wonderful place to stay!!! Sue and Miguel met us when we arrived and gave us a tour of the house. Casa Cielo was very clean, comfortable, spacious and beautifully decorated with a Mexican flare. Big enough for the five of us adults and lots of roaming room. It was the perfect place to wind down at night and wake up in the morning. The rooftop patio was a great place to relax, have a meal and enjoy the stunning views. We thoroughly enjoyed Isla Mujeres and all it had to offer. Casa Cielo exceeded our expectations and we plan to stay there in the future.

Excellent Property with Attention to Detail
I booked a week stay at Casa Cielo last week (June 25-July 2). I intended to stay at the full six capacity, but ultimately there were just three of us. Overall we loved our stay!
The location of this property is excellent. You can see the blue house from Puerto Juarez when you come in. It's a ten minute walk from the ferry to the house if you don't want to take a taxi. It's about fifteen minutes from North Beach and the downtown area. From the roof you can see the whole of the island, and at night there were pleasant breezes to cut down on the humidity. My friends used the rooftop as their sunning station when we weren't at the beach. The east beach is accessible, albeit through a little climbing (this area is not for children, lots of rubble and jagged edges). It's not as clean (sea debris, not people) as the North beach, but it's nice to walk along the surf.
When I arrived, Sue (the property manager) was there to greet me and gave me the tour. Everything was clean and pretty, but it's the little details that made Casa Cielo stand out. The hairdryers, extra beach towels, bag of ice in the freezer - it was nice to feel looked after, especially after a day of travel. And Sue was available to answer our questions throughout the week, both through e-mail and a provided cell phone. She helped explain the A/C units (one remote controlled two different rooms), locks and locations on the island. I mentioned that I was sad to see the hammocks had disappeared, and within a day she had them back up - a generous touch. The wifi was very good, and made communication back home a breeze.
I highly recommend Casa Cielo to anyone looking for a home away from home type stay!
Here is why I took a star off my review: There were quite a few cockroaches in the master bathroom. I don't mind bugs, but I could imagine someone less used to them being freaked out, especially as the bugs seemed to prefer living between the shower curtains. And I feel like the description could have been clearer about the public nature of the back patio / access to the beach. The public walkway has fallen into disrepair. These are minor points - I can't emphasize enough how happy we were while at Casa Cielo.

Great Vacation
Wonderful views, great location, comfortable home with lots little extra things like hair dryers, curling irons, coolers, CD player and CDs,Phone to contact property manager if you have any problems or questions. On days that it wasn't too windy the beach in front of house was pretty calm and we swam in it a lot. With in walking distance to everything you need. Loved staying here!

This place is perfect--comfortable and quiet right on the ocean.
We loved staying at Casa Cielo. The rooms were spacious, comfortable, clean, and pretty. The bathrooms are gorgeous. But the best thing is that there is a lovely back patio and the ocean is just a few feet away. Falling asleep to the sound of the waves and hanging out on the patio any time of day was blissful. I like that this place is not near the big touristy places. It is just outside of town. There is a beautiful path that winds along the water from the house to town and beaches. It's a very easy, short, walk. A couple of minor things came up (the blender broke, the air conditioning wasn't working right), but as soon as we mentioned it to the property managers, it was fixed in no time. I would go back there in a heartbeat.

At Home on Isla
What a perfect escape! Casa Cielo is exactly as pictured on it's website but what the pictures can't show is how comfortable it feels. The rooms are spacious and the various pieces of artwork make it feel like home. We spent a lot of time on the back patio reading, watching the neverending waves of the ocean and trying to befriend the iguanas. With a bit of agility you can get down to the beach below and spend a lot of time collecting shells and beach glass all the while walking in and out of the surf. When you are feeling more adventurous you can walk up the road and in no time you find yourself in the midst of the charming centro. So many restaurants, so little time! A little further and you are at the north beach - turquoise water and a beautiful beach. So Casa Cielo seems to offer the best of all worlds - a quiet escape with easy access to discovering the uniqueness of Isla. Missing it a lot!! But we'll be back.

Casa Cielo sits on the most narrow section of the island, and one of the highest. It is located just outside of the downtown, at the end of the seawall promenade (Malecon). This prime location affords us gorgeous 360 degree views, and close proximity to the restaurants, shopping, and Playa Norte.
The beautiful Caribbean is just outside your backdoor. Sliding doors open to your own private ocean from both bedrooms and living area!
Gorgeous view of Cancun Bay with beautiful sailboats off of the front veranda!
The rooftop swing bar offers the best 360 degree view of the island!
Other than the incredible views, the location offers the best of both worlds, privacy as well as being only a short walk into town with all of Isla's wonderful restaurants and shopping!
