General:
The house and the whole property were as described. We had plenty of space for 4 adults and 2 kids.
Everything was prepared for our arrival, although we came earlier than expected. A nice welcome gift was already waiting for us. For the guests there is a folder prepared with all the relevant information regarding supermarkets, restaurants, markets in nearby cities and so on. This was very helpful for us. There are many nice little towns nearby. To visit a bigger city you have to drive a longer time (~ 45 minutes to Arrezo, ~75 minutes to Florenz)
The one thing that could be better is the last part of the road you have to use to reach the Villa. It´s kind of an endurance test for shock absorbers.
Kitchen:
The kitchen was very clean and very well equipped. There were not just 6 knives, spoons, plates, etc. as you often find at other locations. We had plenty of everything. A big stove with 6 stations and a nice oven also.
One of the highlights is definitely the pizza oven and the barbecue place. Everything is well thought through as you have all the space and tools to prepare the food and even a sink to clean up afterwards.
Outside:
The second highlight is definitely the big pool with 12x6 meters and up to 2 m depth. You have electric sockets also at the pool and the nice outside dining place to bring some music with you or just enjoy the relaxing silence of the surroundings. For small kids there is also a swing and you have the possibility to play table tennis. The parents of Marco that live in a different part of the house took care of the pool in the morning, so that everything was prepared for us. The whole outside area with the pool, dining place and pizza oven was for our private use.
You can also find many interesting animals outside, like little lizards and also a hedgehog came passing through every evening like clockwork.
Contact:
Marco was very helpful and we had a good contact even before our arrival. During our stay we could always contact him if we needed assistance and almost immediately received an answer to our questions.
We enjoyed our stay very much even if the weather was not perfect during the second week. We can absolutely recommend the Villa. It is a very good spot to relax and enjoy your free time.
