The views, the location, the sauna, and the peace and quiet make this a 'must stay' location in Provence. My wife and I spent a week here just relaxing, enjoying the local markets and being absorbed by the charming surroundings... and did I mention the views... from the terrace, from the bedroom? No tourist buses here, just the local villagers going about their daily routines. Jean-Pierre kept us up to date with how to find the location and even organized a friend to guide us through the house on our arrival. A perfect experience for us from beginning to end. It was sad to leave but we did, with many, many happy memories.

The host was extremely helpful, friendly and always available. The property is beautifully situated , clean, spacious, well-equipped and it had the most amazing views and sunsets from every window. Although on a hilltop, the village is actually very central for the Luberon district and even further afield in Provence. We loved that it was so peaceful and quiet and it really felt like our home. The staircase proved to be a bit of a challenge, but everything else made up for that.

We arrived in Caseneuve to discover that we could not contact the owner because our phones would not work. no-one told us that we had to make some adjustment to our mobiles. Some friendly villagers quickly located the owner and we were shown our home for the next week.It had all that we needed from dining area and living room with breakfast bar and toilet on the ground floor to a beautiful upstairs.Comfortable bed, sauna, roll top bath, balcony and full length window looking out from our hillside location over the valley below. A bistro for morning bread and croissants was just five minutes away and a great way to start the day . The house was tastefully decorated and a great location for visits to local towns and villages. The staff in the local Mairie (beside the Bistro) wre very helpful and our hosts were easily available to answer any questions. We were very lucky with the weather apart from one 36hour thunderstorm and are happy to recommend this property to visitors to Luberon

This 1bedroom house is in a quiet hilltop village away from the tourist crowds with a fantastic view past the remains of it's original medieval chateau over a magnificent valley with gorgeous sunsets. The house is beautifully decorated by it's artist owner with a huge luxury bedroom including sauna and roll top bath and is a perfect place to spend some time to relax in a genuine French village. The village itself has a bistro for only French breakfasts and lunch in the low season but there is Michelin rated restaurant which attracts people from all over just down a couple of cobbled streets. Parking is easy, just a few meters from the house, which is just as well as a car is essential to get there and to get supplies from the nearest town of Apt as well as to see the many attractions of the area. The kitchen could be better equipped-there is only a 2burner electric cooktop, a microwave which also grills, a small fridge and a dishwasher but that's more than made up for by the overall charm and the views from the kitchen window!
