The “Verwissling” is anchored in Muiden (15 km from Amsterdam). Originally built as a freighter it has been fully renovated to accommodate guests. There is heating to keep it nice and warm all over and if the weather permits guests may use of all the deck space. For sleeping there are three bedrooms ( 4 , 4 and 6 people ) . Being a boat, two areas are not full height. In addition there is one modern bathroom and a comfortable shower. The kitchen has all you need to cook, From April to October the Verwisseling makes sailing trips on the Markermeer, the IJsselmeer and the Wadden Sea . These tours can range from a few hours to a week or more . For day trips I can accommodate 20 guests, longer trips are limited to 14 guests as there are only 14 beds. Sailing through Netherlands you see the country from a surprising side! The ancient village of Muiden is only 15 km from Amsterdam. Granted it's city rights in 1122 Muiden developed into a fortress town around the Muiderslot, one of the most famous castles in The Netherlands. In modern times it has retained its small village feeling with a picturesque harbor, cafes and small shops. There is regular bus service from Muiden to Amsterdam, and the nearest train station is in Weesp (about 5 km from Muiden) If you would like any more information feel free to get in touch.
