Visited this house in the middle of October with my 3 children, one was a 2 year old baby, and my parents. Firstly we got the wrong house, I booked the long house we got the tall house, not sure why that was, so anyway on entrance the house was ice cold, and was ice cold for hours.. Took hours for the place to heat up, plus 2 radiators up the stairs, one in my room with baby and one in my other children's room didn't work, so upstairs was freezing, the other bedroom was only luke warm and the bathroom was like warm, I did message the owner to which I got no reply, someone did call the next morning to try to fix heating, but I wasn't aware that someone was calling out, as I got no message from the owner to tell me someone was calling out, so we were upstairs getting changed and my husband told him, the girls are actually getting changed at the minute, so he said that was no problem that he would call back later, but didn't. We actually stayed in all day to make sure someone was in when he called but no sign. Dog hair was everywhere, I've been to pet friendly houses before, when cleaned properly, dog hair isn't usually a problem, opened the drawer to get a spoon and the cutlery was full of dog hair, had to emty the entire drawer out and wash everything, sat on seatee and got covered in dog hair, washed my clothes, dried them and sat them on my bed, once again absolutely covered in dog hair. Decided to light a fire in the stove to try warm the place up, opened it up to find it full to the brim with Ash... Hadn't been cleaned out. No outside bins, so all we had was 3 small kitchen bins for 7 people , gladly we were only staying for 3 nights, so the 3 small bins were just about enough. I am a frequent traveller to bunbeg, I'm not a fussy person, but I do expect a clean warm house, I don't pay for a house to walk in and have to start cleaning it nor to sit freezing for the entire stay. I usually get more interaction with owners, I understand that people have lives of their own and can be busy, but if you can't message back, have someone deal with the problem who does have time to message back, Yes someone was sent put to fix the problem but again I wasn't aware and he did say he'd call back but didn't bother. It's such a shame these little simple things did put a dampener on our break, and this house is sitting in such a beautiful location, I absolutely adore bunbeg so I appreciate my time that I do get to visit. The area is so peaceful and the walk down past the beaches and golf course is amazing, it really is therapeutic.

We had a great time over the summer in this wonderful modern-build house. The views are absolutely breathtaking. A very short walk to the nearest beach, and great weather was had. Would absolutely recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a quiet holiday among coastal areas. P.S. love the sheep!!!

We stayed in the house over st patricks weekend.the house is located down by the gaa pitch in Gaoth Dobhair and is a good location for walks by the beach etc. It is about 15 minute walk to Sean ogs pub and 20/25 to the shops. The house itself was a new build and was comfortable and clean. It has a nice log burner and good view from upstairs. If you are staying with very young kids I would recommend you bring a stair gate with you as downstairs is open plan. I would definitely stay here again.

House was stunning. New build and right on the coast facing out to sea. House was warm clean and welcoming. Bit off the beaten track but great if you like that sort of thing.

We had the most enjoyable holiday here in August. The house is situated in the most idyllic setting, beside breathtaking little beaches and coves. The weather we left at home was poor but in Bunbeg we were 3 hours on the beach every day, our grandkids loved it. The house is extremely well equipped with every thing spotless, great attention to detail. We can't wait to get back.

We went to this cottage as it was my mums birthday and she has been suffering from a illness for. While now so went and spent some time as a family, this cottage is beautiful and views are amazing! Was spotless and had everything you needed for a comfortable stay with plenty of fresh towels! Lovely wee beach jus in front of cottage and then then next beach up is bunbeg shipwreck gorgeous views, only thing I would say is a wee fire gaurd round the fire would be good as I had a small child crawling about so wouldn't Light it! Great stay would definitely return, lovely wee pubs around the area with great food too!

Beautiful house, though very remotely situated & not stated when booking. 1 shower didn't work this was disappointing as we were staying for a wedding this held the getting ready process up, key holder wasn't notified we were coming Sheila met us no problem & opened the premises for us though arriving at 9pm the house was freezing though soon warmed up. We had a very comfortable stay & the house was beautiful.

myself, husband and baby daughter booked this house for a weeks holiday in July. The house was lovely, plenty of room as there was 2 double rooms, a spacious twin room and a fold up bed that could have been set up on the landing or downstairs in the open plan living room / kitchen, also 2 bathrooms both with shower / bath. My daughter loved the sheep that just run freely all day long and came right up to double doors, they were very friendly. The house is a mere 10 second walk to the beach, its practically on the door step!! beach and scenery was absolutely stunning and spotless clean. there was also a lovely trail to walk or cycle right on the doorstep. the local pub is at the top of the main road, they serve lovely food and have traditional Irish music on most if not all nights, well worth a visit. Oh and there's a golf course. All in all, I would highly recommend this house to anyone, as it is suitable for all. My daughter absolutely loved it as did myself and husband. We will defiantly be going back again. To anyone thinking of booking this, I would say go for it, you'll not regret it !!!
