Anne is very nice. The sight is beautiful

My husband and I took the kids for a long weekend to experience the Island life with no WIFI and it was all that we hoped for! We rented a boat from Spencer’s and did some exploring, fishing and swimming. Anne was wonderful and the cottage was exactly as advertised.

Stayed with Anne for half a week on her Hay island cottage with 3 kids. Highly recommend for memorable sunsets alone!!

Although we were only able to stay for a few days, our stay was very enjoyable and pleasant. Ann has thought of everything you will need to stay at this charming cottage! Everything was very clean and well stocked and only a quick boat ride to the main land. I would highly recommend this spot if you’d like to see a lot of the thousand islands in a small period of time.

We had an awesome time and Anne is fantastic and accommodating. The cottage is cozy but comfortable. The kids had fun swimming and catching perch off the dock. Even the neighbors are great and invited us down for a visit. I’d definitely return again.

Just rented this place for a guys fishing trip. Lots of fish beautiful location. Accomadation was great and very spacious. Owner was very accommodating. Would definitely rent again.

Everything about our stay was great. Anne was such a pleasure to deal with, the place was clean, comfortable, well equipped and exactly as described. There was even a bottle of wine to welcome us. Boating in the thousand islands was amazing too! Would definitely go back and recommend to friends with boats. Other than there being no fire pit, our stay was perfect. Thanks again Anne! Great place Amazing sunset Super hospitality

We recently stayed at this family friendly cottage on the 1000 islands. We are a family of 4 with 2 girls 9 and 13. The host greeted us upon arrival, showed us around and was available anytime we need anything. This cottage was perfect for our needs. we wanted a week of time on the water and time together... sans electronics. Everyone had their own bedroom with plenty of room for gathering together. The cottage has a large deck overlooking the St. Lawrence and a great dock for the kids to fish off of or jump in for a swim. I particularly loved the new propane BBQ. We went fishing every morning in the area and watched a lot of other boats pull in fish. The town of Gananoque is fantastic... small and quaint with all of the amenities. It is only a 5 minute boat ride. We spent one afternoon at on a beach only accessible by boat, which left a life long memory for all. The stars are out in full force at night and we found ourselves getting lost in their spectacular immensity. This cottage is a tremendous value. It is not luxury, but it is comfortable the way a cottage should be. When you compare the rate to a hotel and then realize you have your own place on an island... you feel pretty privileged. You need your own boat, which many marinas rent in the area. The trip from Gananoque is direct and safe for the novice boater, which allows those who are new to this type of adventure a great starting point. We plan on going back next year... the kids seem quite insistent, which to me means we scored a bull's-eye with this one.

What a perfect way to spend a week or more in July/August. Having a clean, comfortable and fully equipped cottage to come home to after hours of exploring the 1000 Islands is the only way to do this. We loved being able to choose a quiet day on the island or a short boat ride to Gananoque to enjoy lunch/dinner, theatre or a walk along the trails. Anne is hospitable and helpful and we will be sure to holiday here again next summer.
