I'm not sure I've ever seen our kids (ages 5 and 10) relax the way they did here. They never even wanted to leave to explore or go to dinner, preferring to eat all meals on the lovely patio and spend the rest of the day watching wildlife, working a puzzle, playing games, and just enjoying time together. We will cherish the time we spent in this lovely spot and have so many fun memories we will carry with us for a lifetime. Thank you so much for sharing your home with us!

Sea Wash Cottage is a stunning property positioned on the waters edge of Sooke Harbour/Basin, enjoying fantastic views. The cottage is well equipped and within walking distance of local amenities. Great location for exploring the southern part of the Island

Loved our stay in Sooke. The cottage was cute and comfortable. Lots of light and ocean view from multiple windows. Very clean, wild flowers and fresh herbs in the garden. Hot yup while looking at the ocean. It was a great place to relax and enjoy our vacation.

This was an amazing place to stay. The location is stunning and the cottage was wonderful. My family was very comfortable with all the amenities provided. The host was very helpful. We would definitely recommend it.

Thank you for sharing such a beautiful property with us! We've travelled to many places but this one was truly the cream of the crop. Your comfortable, beautiful home was so fully stocked, we were amazed at the comforts and convenience provided. Every morning we enjoyed watching all the seals in the bay, the otter fishing, the deer walking on the beach and the little black mink living by one of the decks. We saw eagle catch a snake and an osprey dive and catch fish. We kayaked across the bay and found a jelly fish bloom plus tons of starfish. Plus we enjoyed a 5 hour hike out by the Sooke Potholes and enjoyed the hot tub to relax our sore muscles. It was a truly magical experience and we can't thank you enough. Thanks again for sharing your property with us - it was an amazing experience. One to experience again and share with others.

The photos on VRBO do not do this place justice ! It was SO beautiful - a magical little cottage. It was quiet & secluded without being in the middle of nowhere. We ventured out to explore Ella Beach (10 min drive) and China Beach (40 mins & 100% worth it. It was breathtaking!). I would highly recommend this place for a peaceful west coast getaway! Hosts were great; flexible & quick with correspondence.

The property was everything we'd hoped for, super cozy but also open and airy. Greatly enjoyed our stay, and overall the place was quite clean except for the master bathroom where the cleaning crew didn't clean as thoroughly as they should have and there was a smell. Other than that, which I'd consider a one-time mishap, no complaints whatsoever.

What an amazing little place. The decorative touches are superb. The hosts are incredibly generous with all that their place offers. The fire pit and hot tub (& outdoor shower!) were big hits with us. We saw whales from the kitchen window and a close up visit from a medium sized black bear early one morning. We brought our bikes and cycled the Galloping Goose. Wonderful visit overall.
