Rose cottage was perfect in every way, inside and out. We particularly enjoyed eating on the various platforms overlooking the ocean, exploring the gorgeous beaches below call mom and all the beautiful flowers. The cottage was beautiful, comfortable, and well-equipped. There were so many great spots from which to enjoy the spectacular view. we very much enjoyed exploring the West Coast beaches, especially Sombrio with its slot canyon waterfall, biking on the galloping goose path, and swimming in the potholes. The abundant Salal and the cute bunnies were a bonus! Thank you very much for an absolutely lovely stay!

While the pictures provided good details of the property, the actual experience far exceeded our expectations. We were traveling with our 3 year-old Labradoodle, and while the property was listed as pet-friendly, there was absolutely no evidence of prior pet smells or sights. The deck platforms at the waters edge were well built and outfitted with chairs and tables. The property is extremely large giving us the sense of privacy. Thank you!

Beautiful property with easy beach access directly from your backyard. We also really enjoyed the private 'picnic decks' overlooking the ocean. Would stay again!

Our stay at the Rose Cottage was fantastic! Before we left, we were already planning how we need to come stay again. It was so relaxing and private. The access to the beach on the trails are so cute and the view points at the picnic benchs are so nice to just sit and read for hours. Right off the property must be one of the best fishing spots because each day you could count on at least a dozen boats being out on the water, which was also so exciting to watch.

Gorgeous views, tranquil location, and a well-appointed house. This would a perfect holiday getaway, any time of year.

Rose Cottage has great views, lots of privacy, very comfy beds. Kids enjoyed the beach; great sunset views. We would stay again.

It’s our second time to Otter point, this time in the Rose cottage and it was equally as wonderful as last year in the Creekside cottage. We are looking forwards to our next visit.

My husband and I spent 4 nights in the Rose Cottage and absolutely loved it. The property is gorgeous, you can tell that Ray and the owners take great care in the beauty of this space. The cottage was spotless, lovely view, and very comfortable. Our dog loved the huge yard and running around the beach. The little trails down to the beach are fantastic, and the sunsets here are gorgeous! I will definitely recommend this lovely place to our friends and family!

This property is amazing!! With three cottages and a beach house on the property there is plenty of room to explore. We stayed at the Rose Cottage and there is also the Rowan and Creekside close by. The kids couldn’t believe their eyes when they stepped into the beach house. So many toys, books and rocks to paint and see from other families. Ray, is such a great host. He is very kind and knowledgeable of the property and area. He made our stay feel like home. The property is so well kept and clean. We fished off the rocks and caught a few rockfish. We went into Sooke Whiffin Spit and just missed sighting Killer Whales. We will be back to this property again next year but we will try to stay at one of the other cottages so we can experience different views when we wake up.

We absolutely enjoyed our stay in the Rose Cottage. Gorgeous oceanfront cottage with everything we needed. The trails, beach and lookouts are just amazing and we enjoyed watching whales during this stay.
