We loved our stay at Elizabeth’s wonderful home on the ocean bay with seals and birds, deer greeting us, quail wandering the yard, loaded apple and plum trees she graciously let us enjoy fruit from and a wonderful patio with BBQ. This was the best supplied vacation home we’ve stayed at with luxurious linens and towels, a well stocked kitchen with quality pots and pans, sharp knives, lots of dishes, cutlery, spices and condiments. I struggle with severe back issues and the bed in the master bedroom was perfect. It’s in a wonderful area, close enough to enjoy Victoria but also the wonderful west side coastline full of beaches and hikes.
Hatley Castle gardens and kayaks just a block away for rent were some highlights. But mostly it was the light filled home with beautiful views of the ocean that made this a wonderful week.

Outstanding!!
The views of the ocean are breathtaking from the many windows. The home is light filled, spacious and has wonderful towels, linens and kitchen equipment for making meals to eat on the patio. We made crisp from the apples and plums off the tree and pancake sauce from blackberries picked along the beach below the house. Saw seals, deer and quail. Location is amazing and lots of suggestions from Elizabeth who was great at keeping in touch. The best vacation home we've stayed at out of dozens.

Property super clean and beautiful location
Excellent vacation ! Near the town and marinas! Lovely cottage with gorgeous views . Lots to see and do in the area!

Great getaway
Wonderful location and view. House is very nice and roomy. Very restful, private setting. Definitely would recommend this property.

Wonderful waterfront!
Enjoy nature in this peaceful setting. Loved the sunrise, birds, seals, deer, and water all from the backyard. The house is very nice with lots of room. There are many things to do on the island from hiking to galleries to The Butchart Garden, and downtown Victoria. We enjoyed cooking at the house in the well equipped kitchen. Our host was so friendly and helpful with suggestions and directions. We really appreciated having a connection with a local.

Best Cozy beach cottage
Great location. Cozy, warm little cottage right on the bay. Coffee on the patio watching deer prancing on the beach and seals cruising bye. Beds are extremely comfortable and bathrooms clean and spacious. Kitchen well stocked and living room cozy with that fantastic. I’ll be back!!!

Perfect Ocean Front Home
Perfect home with luxury linens, modern renovated washrooms and new comfortable beds. The location is so peaceful and only minutes from shopping, restaurants and sites. Great friendly host who quick to answer any questions we may have and was helpful with information on local hikes etc. I would highly recommend this home. We will definitely be back.
