We had a lovely, relaxing stay at the log house retreat. The backyard is so lovely and we made good use of the patio, sauna and BBQ! Centrally located, and close to so many beaches!

Sooke Log House Retreat
We're still talking about Michelle's Retreat. Such quiet serenity. We're so happy we were able to secure the reservation for this wonderful property. Anything that you could imagine needing during your stay (and then some) was provided.
Sooke is such a wonderful area to stay in. Her home home was so convenient for getting to the "downtown" area and to the activities in Sooke. We were so glad that we chose to stay in Sooke vs Victoria.

One of the best!
I spent 1 month here and could have stayed a few more. Michelle has such a wonderful place to stay to explore the island. The house is well stocked, the yard is a great size for the pups (mine loved it) and the location is great...very peaceful. Beds are very comfortable, some of the best sleeps I've had after a stressful year. The check in process was seamless and communication with Michelle was 5 star! Already booked for 1 month next year.

mini family get away
Michelle has made this cozy log cabin into the perfect get away. She provided everything to make our stay comfortable. From spa housecoats to a dog bed for the puppers to a totally private zen backyard with a lovely pond, garden, and sitting area. I would highly recommend this lodging!!

Lovely property, accommodating host
We only stayed for one night in Michelle’s beautiful house, so didn’t get to use all the great facilities like the sauna. It is a large and well equipped house with a lovely outdoor space. Michelle was a great host and good communicator. Would definitely recommend.

True Vancouver Island Retreat
Michelle's log house is definitely a charming retreat space for family and their puppy. The log house is beautifully decorated and super clean, beds are comfortable, backyard is amazing and the kitchen is well stocked. It always feel good after a long hike then take a warm shower with Michelle's specially provided hygiene
products. I definitely recommend this pleasent place if you are looking for a relaxing vacation on the island.

Oasis
A back yard Zen garden that is a delight to enjoy, both from the yard seating areas and from the windows. Comfortable house walking distance to shore, parks, shops.

Wonderful backyard oasis
Great location, wonderful backyard. We had some issues with hot water and had to reset the breaker several times.
Michelle was easy to reach and very welcoming. We were 5 adults and two dogs, plenty of room for all.

Beautiful home and property
Such a wonderful place for my family and I to explore Sooke and the area. Great location, quiet neighborhood, and an easy walk to town. Super comfortable beds, plenty of space to stretch out and relax. And the back yard was perfect. We will definitely stay again when we return to the area.
