We loved our 1 night stay here, such a clean and cozy cottage with everything you need and a very beautiful setting... we'll definitely be back!

We had a really wonderful 3 week stay at Danny and Tami’s cottage on the waterfront near Sooke. Danny and Tami who live in the main house on the property are very charming and welcoming and the cottage was scrupulously clean and comfortable, the kitchen extremely well equipped, the bed offering a sound sleep. There is a lovely view of the Sooke Basin from the cottage with fresh breezes off the ocean, really great at nighttime in the summer. Tami very kindly brought us fresh eggs from her hens and delicious lettuce from her vegetable garden. Most of all the cottage is very private and very quiet. Sooke is a perfect area to relax, with interesting walks nearby and we were very pleasantly surprised to find 2 excellent grocery stores in Sooke, as well as two good restaurants (West Coast Grill; and Wild Mountain. We enjoyed our stay so much we are already booked for next summer! Thank you Danny and Tami!

This was honestly the best home share experience I have ever had. The cottage was cute, clean and well stocked—perfect for a couple. The outdoor areas and views were stunning. The pictures don’t even do it justice. There is a small sitting area right outside the cottage near the hot tub (which was the cleanest I’ve seen!), a deck closer to the water and Adirondack chairs on the dock. We opted to cook our meals at the cottage because no restaurant could beat our views or sunsets. Our hosts were wonderful—highly recommend taking them up on their offer for farm fresh eggs or garden goodies. Wonderful overall experience—we did not want to leave!

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The venue is fantastic. Hosts were super accommodating. Great location, very private, nice view from the deck, and so much to do in the area. Definitely hope to return back here some day soon.

This private ambiance overlooked the ocean. We walked down the dock to float on two comfortable deck chairs. The peaceful environment began our inner stillness reboot. The cottage is perfect for two with beautiful ocean views. It is well stocked, Tami & Danny surprised us with fresh eggs, delicious. We cycled the Galloping Goose, launched our kayaks off the beach and enjoyed lounging on the deck & the hot tub. We had a great time. Thanks Tami & Danny!

We stayed here for 12 days and it was amazing! A beautiful place to relax, both on the deck and in the hot tub, but also lots of opportunities for activities, like kayaking, and the Galloping Goose trail for biking nearby. Loved it, and would definitely return!

Just what we needed. Perfectly laid out space with everything you could think of. Fully outfitted kitchen made for easy at home meals during our stay, complimented by fresh eggs and even some straight from the garden finds to add to our dinners. Great selection of coffee to bring down to one of the wonderful spots on the property to watch the waves roll in or read a book. Made it out on the kayaks for a few hours, and sure enough managed to see a seal. Netflix guest account made for nice movie night. Lots of biking nearby, though we walked our bikes over to the trail about a block away as the roadway is quite busy and the shoulder is pretty tight. Sooke Oceanside Brewery and the Sooke potholes are both quite close by, highly recommend. The hot tub was fantastic, the last night was a little stormy and just watching the clouds roll in & the waves crash was a perfect way to end our stay. Private, secluded, and peaceful. Danny & Tami are friendly, helpful, and easy to get a hold of. Definitely a spot to revisit again!

My husband and I, both retirees, thoroughly enjoyed our 5 night staycation at this amazing cottage right on the ocean. Although only a 45 minute drive from home, this lovely location seemed worlds away. We enjoyed bird song while sipping our morning coffee on the deck and enjoyed watching ducks, eagles, a blue heron, and even a seal. Our friendly host Tami provided fresh eggs and also lettuce from her garden. It’s a great location from which to explore the area. We hope to come back soon. Val and John
