The area was perfect. The host had a book of local attractions, Whiffin Spit and Ayland Farm were two we went to. So glad we did. Never heard nor saw anyone else at the property, but the host was very open to calls or texts. A wonderful time by both myself and my partner and our puppies.

Super suite!
Lori was very helpful and accommodating! She helped me find great places for take out as well as giving me a ride into town. The suite was well stocked and perfect for a couples getaway or just a solo retreat.

Lovely stay in Sooke
It was great staying with Lori. She had an attention to detail and quick to communicate. It was in a great location in Sooke.

Good for short stay
The facilities were very good and well situated for exploring the Sooke region However, there were three things one should be aware, of from our point of view. Firstly, there is only a window in the bedroom. For the living area, where you spend most of your time, you have the lights on all the time. It was a strange feeling to know it was still daylight outside, but not being aware of it. Secondly, the outdoor seating is just two chairs and a little table by our host's front door, looking at the street of the residential area with a little view of the Olympic Peninsula. Not a place to sit for long. Thirdly, the parking spot is on a steep slope, so very awkward to get in and out of the car. We ended up parking on the street where it was somewhat level.
That said, the suite was excellent and our hostess was very welcoming and helpful.

Mini vacay in sooke
A very clean property and super easy check-in and check-out. Would definitely return to this place again. Sooke is such a beautiful town and close to lots of hiking and beaches.

Modern and comfortable suite
Overall, nice place to stay. The property has all necessary amenities. It was clean, and we like it design wise. Check-in and check-out time are convenient. Good advice on places to visit. A little bit tight around the bed in the bedroom. The switch for one of the lamps was not working in the bedroom. Steep driveway. Note that owners have a dog which could be a problem with people with allergies.

Cute suite in Sooke
Lori is a most gracious host; her suite was clean, and had everything we needed to enjoy our week long stay

Lori was great!
My parents came for Christmas and stayed in Lori's suite. The location was perfect as it was close to my place in Sooke. The suite had everything my parents needed during the stay. Lori was great to communicate with, fast on responses and accommodating. My dad has mobility issues and due to the steep incline of the driveway we had some difficulities getting him in and out of the vehicles. All in all, it was perfect!

Cosy!
Comfortable and convenient.
I really appreciated the fact that the host was able to be attentive and responsive, while at the same time respecting my privacy and maintaining pandemic protocols
