Tucked away just off the centre of the village of Fylingthorpe is 2 Chapel Cottages. This is a building with a history. A charming stone built cottage, formerly a small village chapel but converted to its present use over a hundred years ago. The cottage is very well appointed, with a stylish modern kitchen, but retaining the character of the 1800's. Wesley is reputed to have preached at this chapel a number of times.There is an entrance hall giving access to a homely lounge with a new wooden floor, leather chesterfields, 42” plasma screen tv, gas stove and well appointed kitchen and fully tiled bathroom. On the first floor there are two bedrooms. King size bed with heather tartan curtains and accessories and full size adult bunk beds. We have a no e-cigarette policy, for the benefit of all our guests. Terms and conditions with additional information is available upon booking. We welcome dogs to our holiday cottages to a maximum of 2 no charge charge. No dogs on the furniture and not allowed upstairs and not on the beds or furniture. We would also ask you to clear up after your dog(s) and check the garden prior to departure. Sorry no puppies allowed.

Had a lovely 3 night stay at chapel cottage. Small but clean with nice bathroom and kitchen. Larger couches would be nice for relaxing in the evenings. The pub across the road serves excellent food. Nice walks can be easily reached on foot.

We have just returned from a 3 night break in this lovely cottage . We were a party of 2 adults and 2 dogs and had everything we needed for our stay .The cottage was very clean and the kitchen had plenty of crockery ..cutlery...More
