One of five beautifully crafted stone cottages built around a beautiful courtyard with water feature.

From the tiled outside area with solid stone slab seating you enter a small lobby which leads into the solid oak kitchen. You then pass through beautiful solid ash double doors set in a wooden screen to reach the comfortable living and dining area. An unusual open fire, exposed joists and beams and African slate floor make this a most sumptuous apartment. A large sofa bed allows two extra guests to be accommodated in comfort.
The bedroom, through a curtained wooden archway features a curved window seat and reading table with a lovely view of the pond and Cotswold valley beyond. There are internal wooden shutters which gives your bedroo...

It such a lovley time away with my husband and 4 month old baby. The cottage was fully equipped for all we needed. The grounds were so beautiful and breathtaking. We loved the fire place in the cottage. Can’t wait to visit again! Highly recommend!

About the neighbourhood
The Cotswolds region is an area of natural outstanding beauty and contains many lovely small towns and villages. We are situated in the beautiful north Cotswolds region, 20 miles from both Stratford upon Avon and Oxford. Take in a bit of Shakespeare at the Royal Shakespeare Theatre in Stratford Upon Avon or one of the other many sites in and around Stratford or go visit the dreaming spires of Oxford, a city of immense architectural and cultural beauty. The nearby countryside is superb with many footpaths and bridleways making the area accessible for walkers and cyclists alike. There's a host of great attractions and activities in the area too many to list here!
Getting around
The most convenient way to see the sights is by car as public transport from the farm is non existent! However, if you wish to have a day out we have great links to public transport from both Charlbury Train station (located 9.2 miles away) with routes to Oxford, Reading, London, Worcester and Great Malvern or from Banbury Train station (located 7.8 miles away) with routes to Oxford, London, Leamington Spa, Birmingham.
How to get there
Airport: Heathrow Airport: 109.0 km
Railway: Banbury: 11.0 km
Ferry: Portsmouth Harbour: 161.0 km
We are located on the A361 between Banbury and Chipping Norton, 200 meters away from the turning to Deddington on the B4031. Easy access from the M40 in Banbury. Nearby villages include Great Tew (home of Soho Farmhouse), South Newington, Wiggington and Swerford.
The nearest train stations are in Banbury and Charlbury but a car is highly recommended/necessary as we are not well served by public transport. However, if you fancy a day trip to London during your stay the trains from Banbury run very frequently and the journey is just about an hour.
We have ample safe parking here on site with drop off points nearer the cottages.
Activities nearby
Fishing Nearby, There Is A Golf Course Within 30 Mins Drive, Horse Riding Nearby, Nearest Beach: 146.0 km.
