Very disappointed - No compassion

My 2 sisters and I had booked 10 days here with our elderly father to revisit memory lane from when he grew up in Weston Super Mare. Unfortunately Dad has been hospitalised and we have had to postpone our trip. Our airfares, car hire and other accommodation have all allowed us to have a credit so we can rebook out trip. We reached out to Barrowswood on several occasions and had no response. Eventually I got hold of their booking agent, Cottages.com who advised there was no refund or postponement possible. No compassion whatsoever for the situation.
