Luxurious Countryside retreat
My family and I had Diamond and Talbot lodges booked for 3 nights over Christmas. We all had a wonderful time. The lodges have been done out so beautifully and to such a high standard. The I- Pod dock and Apple Tv is a great addition as you can plug in your own devices. It is in a great country side location– you can even walk around the grounds of Ingestre Hall which is well worth a look. It is a Christmas we will all remember with very fond memories for a very long time.

Wonderfully shabby chic
What a fabulous setting, wonderful countryside, convenient and very relaxed. Well designed and decorated, friendly and helpful hosts. A real home from home. For a large family of 7 it was incredibly spacious, the children were buzzing! Would recommend and definitely stay again when next visiting the area.

Gorgeous and relaxing
Stunning location and wonderful hosts. I would thoroughly recommend staying at Ingestre Lodges. I visited for a friends wedding. I was blown away with how pretty the area was. In the morning there was a gentle clip clopping of horses hooves from the riding school across from my accommodation. I only wish I had more time to take advantage of the area.

Stunning stable conversion that oozes comfort and class
My partner Hilary and I Have just been fortunate enough to spend a weekend in one of the 3 beautiful lodges at Ingestre, adjacent to the hall. Access is through a heavy Iron gate onto a cobbled courtyard, which houses a working riding school, and 3 lodges. The original architecture is amazing, transporting you back to a time long before technology changed the world irrevocably! The main part of these holiday marvels are two converted stable units; "Chetwynd" and Talbot", with a luxury bedroom suite called "Diamond" which bridges them . A small architect office sits beneath this, which is owned by the Owner/ Architect who masterminded this stunning conversion. Aaron and Anna Chetwynd have created something marvellous here.... These listed stables have been sympathetically and lovingly converted into a space that combines the aesthetics and outward trappings of the original building, and fused it with modern functionality and lavish comfort. The roof is cavernous, allowing the inclusion of a two story pod which contains 3 lovely bedrooms, ( with one being ensuing with a walk in wardrobe) on the lower level. There is a large bathroom servicing this floor and a boiler room which also stores extra things like coats and boots etc. upstairs in the Master suite, also with walk in wardrobe and ensure, and a private galleried sitting area with a mixture of antique and contemporary classic furniture. it adequately housed 4 couples and gave us space for ourselves as well as to host a similar size group from the other lodge as part of the weekends wedding celebrations. The lodges are conveniently located around 20 to 30 minutes drive from Staffordshires finest attractions and beautiful market towns. It makes a wonderful base to explore the area, or just a wonderful place to enjoy some quality relaxation time away from it all. And, if like me , you have a love of Art, Architecture and Design; you will find enough to keep you entertained without any of the above!!! Very highly recommended... Please give this a try! Fantastic place, highly recommend
We are the race organisers of IRONMAN 70.3 Staffordshire held at Shugborough Estate. We used Ingestre Lodges as our staff accommodation for the week. It was brilliant and nothing was ever too much. We very much look forward to returning next year.

Absolutely...Amazing & Perfect, don't hesitate to book it !!
We stayed here over the weekend of 17th,18th and 19th April 2015 having booked out all 3 accomodations on offer for a wedding function at the nearby Ingestre Church and Hall. It was in 1 word "perfect". Family and friends travelled from around the country and we had a most perfect weekend and wedding. Both Lodges are amazingly equipped and quite luxurious, we had guests who did not stay, who used the facilities on both days and everyone commented on how absolutely fabulous they were and how on earth did we discover them !. Friday night we had a pre wedding party for around 30 people with food and drinks which was effortlessly accommodated, and Sunday morning we cooked the "full english" for everyone with ease. That was 18 people and we only used 1 of the kitchens !! Anna and Aaron are perfect hosts, both welcoming and also discreet in allowing you all to "do your thing" unhindered. The backdrop of the working stables is brilliant, something to watch as you drift in and out of these ideal premises. We'd return in an instant but I don't think any of us are ready for another occasion quite like that one just yet !.. Well done to everyone @ Ingestre Lodges and Stables. You made our weekend that little bit more magical than possibe.

Excellent accommodation in interesting area; truly exceptional owners who couldn't have been more welcoming or helpful.
The whole service for this property, from February 2014 when we booked until Sat 3rd January 2015 when we left, was professional, efficient and charming. Chetwynd Lodge was beautifully presented, interestingly furnished and very roomy for our party of 7. Facilities were very good and our one query regarding cooking utensils was dealt with instantly. Both Anna and Aaron could not have been more helpful, even booking for us to go clay pigeon shooting locally, an exciting first for all of us. Suffice it to say that shooting will not be our Olympic sport but great fun was had by all and we can't wait to go again. Very interesting area including the Ironbridge Museums and the city of Lichfield with its 3 spire cathedral was made even more fascinating for us by the family guided tour of the local Christopher Wren church with its Burne-Jones window. Can't wait to go again.

A wonderful place to stay with very friendly service
Magnificent entrance to the lodges with an awesome archway. Quiet, courteous and polite stable hands handling the beautiful horses within the stable area which was very interesting to see during the day. Quirky and fun features within the grounds including a 6ft white rabbit from alice in wonderland and an amazing gypsy caravan, which both created great photo opportunities. The accommodation was comfortable and warm. The utilities were plentiful. We stayed in the Chetwynd Lodge which was roomy and well designed. I have asked for a reservation a year in advance and hoping to be able to stay there again.
