you need ingestre in your life.
basically, we're four actors who were on tour with a play at the relatively nearby stoke on trent. we were stuck for digs (and didn't really want to stay in stoke on trent) so started hunting holiday lettings; pretty soon we found ingestre and had (justified) reason to get excited for stoke. the property is AMAZING, all bedrooms and beds ridiculously comfy, with loads of interesting quirks. great television (with netflix), comfy sofas, loads of space, a variety of mood lighting - it all adds up to a wonderful atmosphere to the point where on the day we had to leave [after a 3 week stay mind] we were literally in tears. and we're men. I cannot recommend this property enough. some added bonuses are the fact that adjacent to the property is a working stables [where we had horse riding lessons], there are some stunning walks nearby, and other nearby activities such as clay pigeon shooting, mountain biking at cannock chase, and some gorgeous pubs. the hosts, anna and aaron are two of the most fantastic people you could hope to meet and went out of there way to make it a really special stay for us. five bloody stars!!!!!

INGESTRE LODGES WEDDING ACCOMODATION
I highly recommend the Lodges as somewhere to stay after a wedding. After a stunning reception at Ingestre Hall we had the pleasure of being able to relax and talk over our special days events in such beautiful and comfortable surroundings with family and friends. The accomodation is very stylish but has a very homely feel providing everything you could need to help you to relax. The open plan living and dining area is spacious with fully fitted kitchen, sumptuous beds and luxurious bathrooms. An amazing and truely wonderful experience

What an amazing place!!!
We rented this beautiful lodge for the weekend of our wedding. Where to start . . . these converted stables have been sensitively and lovingly renovated by Anna and Aaron who have managed to retain the original charm of the building whilst making it a cosy, well equipped and modern living space. The lodge is filled with unique luxurious furniture and ornaments from various films (you never know you might be sleeping on a bed from Game of Thrones!). On arrival with my Mum and elderly Nan we were greeted with a lovely hamper of locally procured foods which went down very well after the long journey. Anna and Aaron couldn’t do enough for us during our stay and were more than accommodating, even when we disturbed them late on the night before our wedding looking for a home for our wedding cake for the night! The lodge is set in the tranquillity of the beautiful village of Ingestre but close enough to Stafford to have close access to shops, restaurants and supermarkets. The lodges are about 100 meters from Ingestre Hall and St Marys church where we got married and are the perfect venue to prepare for, and celebrate a wedding or other event with friends and family. I spent the night before the wedding there with all the bridal party and the lodge very comfortably slept eight. We all got ready there the morning of the wedding which was an absolute joy in the big open plan downstairs space which easily accommodated parents, bridesmaids, flower girls and the entire transformation team of hair dressers, makeup artists and photographers. An added bonus was apple TV which easily links to iPhones to play your music though! I would highly recommend this lodge for either a couples get away or for a small intimate party venue. If you’re looking for a smaller lodge Anna and Aaron also kindly showed us round the Diamond lodge which sleeps two and is similarly decorated. Husbands treat your wives, and ladies treat your hubbies to a romantic weekend away at these amazing lodges, you won't regret it!! We honestly didn't want to leave and it was only that we were heading to the airport to go on honeymoon that they managed to get us out the door!! Thank you again Anna and Aaron :o)

A sensational getaway
Where to start…the place is just amazing, simple as that. We recently spent a weekend away there and it was difficult to make ourselves leave – it is just so easy to fall in love with it. The building itself is beautiful – it used to be old stables that were converted into what we now have as these lodges, designed personally by Aaron and Anna, the hospitable couple that run it. You can see the brilliance that went into creating this accommodation, there was obviously a lot of effort and passion involved, including the personal touches that are scattered around, numerous original features that have been left in place and together they make this fascinating living space that is pure enjoyment for anyone that stays there. You also have the unique and beautiful furniture, some of which has featured in classic films (but we will let the owners tell you more about that…) We stayed in Chetwynd, a huge self-contained living space with 4 bedrooms, including the master on the first floor. It was great for social occasions with its spacious living room/kitchen area. We were also shown around the smaller Diamond Lodge next door – a cosy space perfect for a couple’s romantic getaway and somewhere we would love to try next time because without a doubt we will be back!

A great place to stay!
Booked one of the lodges for my wife's 30th b'day dinner party. Everyone in our group (8 in total) loved the place; beautiful décor throughout & with all mod cons helped everything go off without a hitch. Anna & Aaron were very welcoming, beforehand & during the stay (Thank you again!). Would definitely recommend the lodges as a great place to stay / meet & catch up with friends, special occasion or otherwise!

Real english contryside. A nique Experience
We had the most amazing 50'th birhtday celebration at the Ingestre Lodges, with friends and kids. The arquitecturally amazing remodeled stables with very exclusive furnishings as well as the location, make it a fantastic place to celebrate, or just for a get away with family and friends. A very good local farmstore is located nearby, The Ingestre Riding School shares the new stable site, and the countryside is very nice to explore. It has been our second visit to Ingestre Lodges, a unique experience. We will definitly return again. Thank you so much Anna and Aaron.

Beautiful accommodation, definitely coming back!
This was an amazing place to stay, it has everything that you could want. The interior was spectacular, all the rooms were beautiful. The spacious living area was perfect for a group of friends wanting to socialise and enjoy a couple of days away from their busy lives. The owners were extremely helpful and went above and beyond to make our stay perfect. Sharing with us their knowledge of the local areas and gave us a lot of great suggestions of things to do close by. I would definitely recommend this place to stay.
