The open plan living and kitchen area comprises of dining/breakfast bar for 6, fully equipped kitchen including electric hob and oven, microwave, wine fridge, integrated dishwasher and washing machine. In the living area, real oak flooring extends throughout, with a large leather sofa unit plus 2 occasional chairs and 2 large footstools. Family of six (parents, grandparents & 2 children (3&6) found location great and apartment had everything we needed. It was clean and comfortable for us. Able to park close and free. Caught the Hop-on, Hop-off bus just blocks from us and toured Edinburgh getting off...More

Great location to transport, restaurants, pubs and Britannia. Kitchen stocked with all your basic needs. Supermarket 100mtrs away. Owner provided walking guided tour upon our arrival.

About the neighbourhood
The apartment has most of Edinburgh's best restaurants within walking distance of the apartment, where there are numerous bars and bistro’s catering for all tastes and international cuisine with each offering something unique.

Activity is focused mainly around the area on the Leith waterfront known as The Shore, with many diverse bars and restaurants now catering for locals and tourist alike. It has been extensively restored and is now a cosmopolitan mix of converted warehouses, loft, apartments, restaurants and pubs.

Edinburgh airport is only 9 miles [15 km] with a direct bus from the bus stop located 1 minute from the apartment. A taxi journey to the airport is around 20-30 minutes and will cost approximately £20.
Buses run past the apartment every few minutes to the centre of Edinburgh to Waverley Station and Princes Street, approximately 2 miles [3 km] away.
A single bus fare is £1.50 on any of the 4 routes into the city [numbers 16, 22, 34 & 35] with a taxi fare to Waverley station costing around £9. A bus app is available to download from the operator Lothian Buses for real time travel information.
