Our ABI Ashcroft new 2015 is located at Aviemore Holiday Park, a 10 min walk from the train station and the centre of Aviemore which is a busy thriving community, there is an onsite cafe/bar and the site is only a 5 min walk to the nearest Italian restaurant ,Indian restaurants and chip shop. Accomodation The accommodation comprises a comfortable open plan kitchen/dining /lounge with French doors out to the decking area, lounge area has large L shaped sofa ample seating for 6 also with a 32' flat screen TV, freesat box and a DVD player, the lounge also incorporates a wall mounted electric heater with living flame option for that cozy glow even when fire not required to be on. Sleeps 6, There are 2 bedrooms. The master bedroom includes a king size bed, has large wardrobe and shelf space, ample drawer space, above headboard storage, dressing table with stool mirror and an en-suite. The second bedroom has twin beds, wardrobe, under bed storage and above headboard storage. There is also a double lift out sofa bed in the lounge. Other facilities include shower room Bed linen and towels provided (To avoid possible cross contamination from covid-19 all bed linen i.e. sheets, duvet covers and pillow cases are being withdrawn for the duration. Please bring your own). It is double glazed and centrally heated throughout. Gas and electric included in price Outside there is a decking area to front and side There is a 6' x 6' shed to rear for additional storage for skis, ski boots, bikes etc.. WIFI available at a small daily fee purchased through the site access Location Aviemore Holiday Park is based closed to the city centre and offers access to all local services and amenities including restaurants, hotel, post office, bus transport, train station, fishing, bike hire, golf, tennis and bowls. There is also a great convenience store not too far from the site. The famous river Spey runs through the site and reasonably priced fishing permits are available from reception. There is a coin operated washing machine and drier on site also a beauty and therapy salon beside the reception. The area is great for lovers of the great outdoors. Walkers, cyclists, bird watchers and fishermen will be impressed by the spectacular scenery. Golfers are spoilt for choice here. Aviemore hosted a very highly rated golf course, and there are several others in the vicinity. Nethy Bridge. Abernethy Golf Club. Carrbridge. Carrbridge Golf Club. Grantown on Spey Golf Club. Aviemore. Spey Valley Golf Club. The tourist centre of the Highlands, Aviemore is also the main area for winter sports, hillwalking and climbing, watersports and outdoor sports of all kinds are catered for. It is a bustling town with a swimming pool (with flumes), and activity centre for all ages. There are cafes, shops, restaurants, pubs and clubs. A lovely homely caravan on a nice quiet site. A short walk to village, where there are great pubs/ cafes and restaurants. There is a nice pub on the caravan park also. Plenty of walks/cycles on the doorstep. Will definitely be back.

First visit to Aviemore Holiday Park and with full COVID restrictions in place probably didn't see the park in the best light as it looked untidy in places and the grounds were in need of some attention. Chalet was first class with all required amenities...More
