To the front is an enclosed patio area and to the back another enclosed patio with a small grassed area. The garden area is perfectly secure and ideal for dogs as Strathglass Cottage is pet friendly. Strathglass Cottage also has full central heating.
The cottage is perfect for a romantic retreat, or as a base for touring the rest of the Highlands and Islands, including the stunning West Coast and Skye which are both within reach. Strathglass Cottage makes the perfect base for exploring the Munros.
Strathglass Cottage is a contemporary oak floored Cottage with two bedrooms, a double at the rear looking up the hill into the pine forest and a twin looking out across the glen to the River Glass and beyond. Both rooms are light and airy with comfortable beds.
Downstairs there is a good sized bathroom with a shower, toilet and a wash hand basin. To the rear of the house is a well equipped kitchen with a microwave and to the front a lounge with a leather three piece suite, a flat screen TV and a DVD player.
Outside the cottage is a small patio to the front and a larger patio to the rear with a grassed area. The garden area of the Cottage is completely enclosed and secure.
Strathglass Cottage boasts plenty of room for off road parking.
For the comfort of all our guests, Strathglass Cottage is a no smoking cottage. Guests are welcome to smoke outside on the patio areas.
Heating, electricity, towels and bedlinen are included.
Free Wifi is available. Due to our location the internet connection can be quite slow!
Strathglass Cottage is a pet friendly Cottage. Pets are welcome by prior consent.More

Beautiful,clean well-equipped cottage with everything needed for a relaxing holiday. Set in picturesque, quiet surroundings, with wonderful local pub in easy walking distance. Would highly recommend!

About the neighbourhood
The Capital of the Highlands, Inverness, is just a short drive away. The City has it's famous Castle and museum. The Culloden Battlefield lays just outside Inverness as does Fort George.
Further afield lays the skiing resort of Aviemore and the stunning Cairngorm National Park. Daytrips to the Orkney Islands run regularly from Inverness.
If you want to sample a 'dram' of whisky, the taste of Scotland, then the Glen Ord, Dalmore, Tomatin and Glenmorangie Distilleries are all possible visits from the Cottage.

By Car:
Direct route via Stirling, Perth, Inverness then through Beauly and on to Struy
By Train:
The nearest major train station is Inverness with regular daily services from all major stations.
By Air:
Inverness airport is served daily with flights from across the UK and from international destinations.
Car hire is available from the airport or from Inverness.
