Holiday Rental House
Rue Laitiere is a pretty little 18c town house which sleeps four in two bedrooms and is situated in a secluded courtyard in the heart of historic Bayeux. The double bedroom has a 1.80 bed, while the second bedroom has two single beds. Everything you require is on your doorstep. Great restaurants, mouth watering boulangeries and patisseries, museums, supermarkets etc are all within walking distance. The train station, car and bike hire are all within easy reach. The main departure points for the tour companies are 2 minutes walk away. Sadly we are no longer able to provide outside seating. This is due to a number of previous guests being very noisy outside late in the evenings which has caused disturbance to the other residents....Rue Laitiere is a pretty little 18c town house which sleeps four in two bedrooms and is situated in a secluded courtyard in the heart of historic Bayeux. This home is wonderfully situated for visiting all of Normandy. We were made to feel at home. Suggestions are given for local restaurants, and excellent guidebooks are available as well. Our thanks to the owners for making it available!

About the neighbourhood
No 8, Rue Laitiere is nestled in a little courtyard, completely hidden away from the hustle and bustle of the busy town. Thankfully the town wasn't damaged during the Liberation, and there are many wonderful buildings to see, lovely parks to discover and a pretty walk along the towns river which also has a large water wheel in the centre. The Bayeux Tapestry and the meeting points for various tour companies are all within a few minutes walk, as are the shops, restaurants, train station etc. No car is necessary.
Getting around
A car is desirable, but there is a good selection of tour operators in Bayeux who offer various tours // shuttle services to all the major tour sites. All rendezvous points for the tour operators are within a few minutes walk of the property.
