We could walk just about anywhere in the Old City. There was a handy convenience store about 2 1/2 blocks away, and a "restaurant row" about 4 blocks. We found the unit well furnished, and amazingly efficient. There were some drawbacks to the tiny space, however; the shower was distressingly close to the bed (we worried that we would create a flooded bed), and there were two steps to navigate in the dark to the toilet. Since we were there when the street was dug up for the tunnel construction, there were various inconveniences, but hopefully that is a thing of the past now.
