Living room: is bright and stylishly-furnished and has fantastic sea views over the entrance to the port. It has two sets of double doors opening to a balcony where you can sit and watch the boats go by whilst enjoying your lunch! It's furnished with a comfortable sofa, occasional chairs, dining table & six chairs and large TV (French).
Kitchen: open-plan to the living room and modern, it's well-equipped for cooking & dining and has oven, hob, microwave, dishwasher, fridge & freezer.
Utility: on a veranda from the 3rd bedroom, there's a washing machine.
Bedrooms: three in total; master bedroom furnished with double bed (160cm wide) and has en-suite shower room, another with double bed (160cm wide) and shower area, plus a smaller bedroom furnished with comfortable sofa bed.
Bathrooms: the master bedroom has an en-suite shower room with large shower enclosure, washbasin & WC. The other bedroom has shower enclosure and washbasin open to the bedroom. There's also an independent WC accessible from the hallway.
Outside: from the living room there's a long, sunny, south-facing balcony with table & two chairs. It has fantastic views over the gardens, the port entrance and sea. There's one private covered parking place plus free parking can often be found on the road outside.
Swimming pool: is not available here, but then you do have the beaches and the sea on your doorstep!

The apartment is in a slightly older building in the port of Nice. There is an unobstructed view of the ocean from the balcony and living room. From the bedrooms you have a great view over Nice and the surrounding hills. The apartment itself is nicely renovated with a very modern, very well equipped kitchen and very stylish living room. There is a giant TV screen and super fast internet. We left the kitchen untouched however - there are so many great restaurants in close walking distance. To get to the town center , you can either walk for 20 minutes or take the bus which frequently departs from a stop right in front of the building. The property manager was lovely and ever so helpful.

Great apartment.
This apartment is in an excellent location. The apartment is clean and spacious with excellent views. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend this apartment.

About the neighbourhood
Local shops can be found just 50 metres away, a boulangerie 100 metres, a supermarket 150 metres and a wonderful restaurant on the sea front just 20 metres. You also have a great selection of restaurants to choose from all around the port area and in the nearby old town of Nice. There is a great choice of shopping in the department stores, the designer shops and gift shops of Nice.
Local markets are held in Nice and Villefranche. The most well known is held in the Cours Saleya in Nice, adjacent to the old town, and offers an array of olives, flowers and fresh produce. There is also an antiques market held here on a Monday.
Sporting activities in the area are abundant– there is sailing, diving, fishing, water sports, jogging and rollerblading along the Promenade des Anglais, and of course the beaches. You are also in very close proximity to the mountains and hills of the Alpes Maritimes region here, which makes walking and cycling very popular.
Beaches can be found just 100 metres away and right along the seafront of Nice, as far as the airport. From here you can enjoy the sunshine glittering on the azure blue waters of the Med, watch the many boats crossing the Baie des Anges, and see the planes and helicopters coming in and out of the airport.
The ski stations of Valberg, Isola 2000 and Auron are approximately 1 hours drive away if you fancy a couple of days winter sports!
Getting around is very easy from here. You have the bus and train services, which have a great network along the coast and further inland - the nearest bus stop to this apartment is 20 metres away. A car is really not necessary here.

By Car – The roads and autoroutes in France are a pleasure, so driving can sometimes make a good alternative to flying – at least youll already have your car with you! From the UK you have the choice of using the ferries or the Eurotunnel for your crossing. Once in the South of France, this property can be easily accessed via the A8 autoroute.
By Air – Nice-Cote d'Azur is the nearest international airport – approximately 6 kilometres away. There are daily flights from the UK and worldwide - please see the timetables here . There is a regular bus service from the airport to Nice town centre.
By Train – Eurostar runs from London to Paris city centres and then the high speed TGV service runs from Paris to Nice. The nearest train station to this property is Nice Gare Riquier, approximately 1km away.
