Fantastic apartment in a fantastic location in a fantastic city
It is extremely easy to get to the apartment - it's just a short and cheap tram trip from the airport to Jean Medicin on Bd Victor Hugo. The apartment itself is a 'classic' French property - old fashioned lift, big doors and windows and beautiful parquet floors. The living room and bedrooms are generous in size, very tidy and nicely furnished. The kitchen is a reasonable size and well equipped. The bathrooms could do with a bit of a makeover, but having stayed in similar properties in France, this is kind of what you get. There are literally 100s of restaurants in the neighbourhood and the Old Town - which is a 20-minute walk - has plenty more. Luckily, Roxanne, the property manager, gave us a list of the best ones to go to and they didn't disappoint. Also plenty of museums and other nearby towns to visit.

A great location and a great space
We received a warm welcome to our 7 week stay. The location is perfect and this two bedroom apartment has a nice flow. The lounge is large and a good space, as are the two bedrooms. A bathroom and a shower room makes this a perfect apartment for family and/or two couples. The kitchen is well equipped and if you don't feel like cooking, there is a huge selection of local bars, bistro and restaurants nearby. The local shops have everything you might need and the beach is a 10 minute walk. We plan on coming back and thank you to Remy and Roxanne for looking after us so well. Jacqui and keith

Perfect location, very comfortable, above avg
Well located in the Nice ‘Musiciens’ district - chic area with plenty of bars restaurants and shops a short walk away and still very quiet. Apartment lift is a rather cool cage style - old school. Beaches both public and private are literally 5 mins walk. Car parks v near. 2 mins to supermarket ‘U’. Walking distance to tram which goes directly to airport (30mins ). The apartment was lovely and spacious, parquet floor, high ceilings, well appointed, with views to street on 2 sides. Roxanne the manager could not do enough and was v attentive. She was also very respectful of making sure we felt safe, following all the COVID precautions scrupulously. We would not call it luxurious since bathrooms although clean, are in need of modernisation and most furniture is Ikea, however no complaints and very comfortable and more than adequate for our 2wk stay - we have stayed in many rentals and this is above avg. Air con was great and needed during heatwave. WiFi excellent and large tv with satellite channels. Pictures on website are accurate. We would love to come back and stay here again.

Dear Gayda,
Thank you for your review on our holiday rental. It was a great pleasure to have you.
Please allow me to rectify that the apartment is located on Boulevard Victor Hugo
and, as you surely know, Victor Hugo is a French writer and not a musician. So the location of the
apartment as you mention is not in "Musiciens District" but in Carre d'or (Golden Square). The musician district
starts after BD victor hugo and it's located outside of the golden square. BD Victor Hugo is one of the most prestigious streets in Nice with mostly bourgeois and art-deco buildings and we
tried our best to keep the charm and authenticity of the apartment while modernizing it.
For example, we renovated the bathrooms but we kept the bathroom sink which is from 1900-1920.
So far our guests were pleasantly surprised and appreciated the authenticity of the apartment ,but I can understand
that some people may less appreciate ancient pieces or the old plaster work on ceilings, etc.
Anyway I am happy that you have enjoyed your stay and looking forward to have you back.

Huge apartment and perfect location
First impressions are important and Roxanne, who manages the flat, helps create a great vacation experience. She met us when she said she would, gave us a tour of the flat (which actually is even larger than pictured), gave us advice on local restaurants , and was always available to answer any questions.
The location is wonderful! The flat is literally a five minute walk to the train station, to the tram (which now goes to the airport), to great local restaurants, to shopping, and to the beach.
The individual AC units worked very well, as did the dishwasher and washing machine. And having two bathrooms was fantastic since I was traveling with my wife and adult daughter.
We adored Nice and look forward to a return trip.

Excellent location in a quiet prestigious neighborhood
This was the second time that my family and I stayed at this beautiful Art Deco property. Its location could not be more ideal. Walking distance to two of the main avenues, Promenade des Anglais and Avenue Jean Medecin which is full of great shops, supermarket, movie theatres, bars, as well as the lively pedestrian area offering all type of restaurants and street shows. This lovely apartment with high ceilings and many windows is on the smart and elegant Blvd. Victor Hugo, a quiet area surrounded by local merchants, small shops, boulangeries, bistros, cafes, pattiseries, among other attractions. Best part is that you are minutes away from the beach. The spacious property is equipped with A.C., a full kitchen, cable TV and wi-fi
Remy and Roxanne (owner and manager) are simply lovely and very welcoming. They were always very helpful and resourceful.
I would recommend this family-friendly property to my friends.

The perfect spot
In the heart of a great residential area and on what’s probably the nicest street in all of Nice. From the very warm greeting by Roxanne—the property manager—to when we checked out 4 days later, our stay was perfect. The apartment is beautifully furnished and equipped with every single thing we could have possibly needed. 2 bedrooms are both comfortable and quiet. Apartment is very well laid out and much more spacious than we expected. Location is a short walk to restaurant, shops, and the beach. Honestly, the perfect apartment for us and in the perfect location. We rented from this same owner once before—a different unit—and Had the same first class experience then, too. We’ll visit again for a longer stay. Loved the apartment, the warm welcome, and, of course, love Nice!

Excellent Location Excellent Apartment
This is a great place to stay if you wish to be near the sites and sounds of Nice. About 10 min walk to the old town and 5 mins to the Promenade de Anglais. The accommodation is spacious and quiet so ideal to be away from the busy tourist sites. Great welcome and support when required from Roxanne. Definitely would recommend this as a place to stay.

Bright & Lovely Apartment in Nice
This is a terrific, upper floor, apartment, with a lift, located on a quiet, more residential street in Nice. It's a very straightforward and easy walk to pretty much everyplace one would wish to visit -- 10 minutes or less to the Promenade Anglais, the Old Town area, the train station (for day trips to Villefranche, Antibes, Monaco, etc.). You can also walk to the Old Port for boat trips very easily all along the Promenade Anglais (about 20- 25 minutes). It's located just a block off Rue Dolpazzo, a small street with lots of excellent local restaurants.
The apartment is sunny, spacious, and looks like the pictures on the website. We never felt crowded and enjoyed being close enough to visit everything we wanted to see in Nice, but then also being able to retreat to a quieter environment for the night.
As others have mentioned, Roxanne, the manager, is stellar. Every interaction with her was prompt, pleasant, and very well informed. Working with her was a pleasure and made the process of booking and follow through for the apartment very smooth. We would most definitely recommend this apartment for both individuals and families.
