Sweet little house with large roof terrace
A very rare find in Nice close to the airport with parking right in front of the house and lovely outdoor space Gilbert the host was very charming and very helpful I would definitely return

Rugby Weekend in Nice
Even before we booked, Gilbert was very helpful as we had to make sure we could park our motorhome outside and he kindly measured the space for us and responded immediately. Communication before our visit was excellent and when he met us he showed us around the house and spent time with us showing us where we were in regard to public transport and the easiest ways to get to the areas we wanted to see. He was really friendly and the accommodation was great and well positioned in the city and there was only a short walk to the tram stop. We would definitely use this house again if we returned to Nice.

Historical Place With The Great Host
We have booked this house for 2 weeks (me, my wife, a little child, and a dog) in June to visit Nice for our holidays. Gilbert is a wonderful and super friendly host who always responded very quickly to all our messages and guided us through the process. The house is very spacious with the huge terrace on the roof with the sea view. It also has very nice history behind that makes it quite a unique place to stay in Nice. The house has all the necessary equipment to stay for a long time, it is close to the sea even by foot but there is a bus that makes it even faster. There is also a parking spot near the house, which is super important, because it is hard to park a car in Nice. We totally recommend this place to other travellers.

Séjour agréable
Nous avons apprécié l'accueil sympathique de notre hôte Gilbert et ses petites attentions. Disponible, à l'écoute, serviable, de bons conseils pour les visites à faire à Nice et ses alentours. Appréciable, une boulangerie à 150 m de la maison ainsi qu'un arrêt de bus.

Wonderful host, clean, convenient accommodation
Our host Gilbert was very kind; he insisted on fetching us from the airport late in the evening and gave us very helpful hints on local transport links, provided maps and made us feel welcome. We spent a comfortable week in the apartment which was clean, with a comfortable double bed and wardrobes in the bedroom. The sitting/diningroom is spacious which a table to seat 6 and a comfortable couch, TV and chairs. The kitchen was spacious with plenty of crockery and cutlery, a fridge, microwave and gas oven and hob. The bathroom though small had a WC, good shower and hand basin, There was always hot water available. Outside there is a large patio where one can relax and eat meals and where one can hang washing. However, the best thing about the place was the host himself. He keeps very busy so one has to reserve time to speak to him. He was very good about keeping in touch by phone and text messaging and was very good at problem solving when we had a problem. The apartment is very close to a small excellent bakery (we ate coffee and croissants for breakfast several times) and about 100m from the bus stop. The long route around on the bus is scenic and well worth a ride and ends at Magnan where one can catch a line 2 tram into the city. The short route takes one to Ferber, where one can catch the line 2 tram. The location is close to Nice airport on the western side of Nice. It is really easy to commute into the old city; the best stop to alight on the tram is Jean Médicin in the commercial centre. Tram 2 goes to the port from close to where one can catch a bus along the coast and as far as Monaco. One can explore towns and places to the east of Nice; buses leave from Parc Phoenix. GIlbert insisted on taking us to the station to catch a connection to our next stop, further east. He is extremely kind and very helpful.

Merci beaucoup pour l'excellente hospitalité
Nous avons passé deux semaines très agréables et passionnantes à Nice. Gilbert est un hôte exceptionnel. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié son "briefing" où il nous a donné de nombreux conseils et recommandé différents sites touristiques. La maison elle-même est exactement comme on peut la voir et la décrire dans l'annonce et convient parfaitement comme point de départ pour explorer la région. La terrasse est un endroit idéal pour profiter des belles soirées. Gilbert nous a même donné un garage pour nos vélos (merci encore pour cela) La maison dispose d'un parking privé et est bien située pour utiliser les transports en commun, une boulangerie se trouve à environ 150m. Cordialement Peggy & Jens Wir hatten zwei sehr schöne und aufregende Wochen in Nizza. Gilbert ist ein herausragender Gastgeber. Wir haben sein "Briefing" sehr genossen wo er uns viele Tipps gab und verschiedene Sehenswürdigkeiten empfahl. Das Haus selbst ist exakt wie in der Anzeige zu sehen und beschrieben und eignet sich hervorragend als Ausgangspunkt um die Gegend zu erkunden. Die Terrasse ist ein toller Ort die schönen Abende zu genießen. Gilbert gab uns sogar eine Garage für unsere Fahrräder (Vielen Dank dafür nochmals) Das Haus hat einen privaten Parkplatz und liegt verkehrsgünstig, auch um den öffentlichen Nahverkehr zu nutzen! Ein Bäcker ist nur ca. 150m entfernt. Vielen Dank für die tolle Gastfreundschaft. Liebe Grüße Peggy & Jens

Fantastic host and perfect place to stay in Nice with car
Thank you to Gilbert for a perfect stay in Nice. Gilbert was so helpful with giving us information on where to visit in and around Nice, answering all our questions, and making sure we were comfortable during our stay. The apartment is spacious for 2, and has everything you could need, including parking. There was even wine in the fridge for our arrival. We enjoyed that the TV is a smart TV so we could have Netflix in the evenings. The air conditioning is perfect to help with a good nights sleep, and the bed is comfortable also.The roof terrace is huge and we ate dinner out there every evening, and enjoyed sunbathing there too. We couldn't have asked for anything more from both the apartment and Gilbert. Each day we drove down to a carpark around 5 minutes away by car which costs 3 euros for the whole day, and then we used the tram to sightsee in Nice. We look forward to coming again. Loved our stay!
Gilbert picked us up and then dropped us off at the airport. He sat down with us on the first day and gave us a comprehensive guide for our stay, with instructions for the house and recommendations for the area. He couldn’t have been any kinder, and we were so lucky to have been able to stay at his place. The apartment was very clean, and Gilbert put food and drinks in the fridge for us. Thank you for an amazing stay, Gilbert!
