Beautiful apartment in a superb location. Apartment was very clean and had everything we needed for our stay. Plenty of towels for the beach, sun parasols and a beach bag to use. Only a 5 minute walk from the train station which was so convenient for a visit to Monaco, Cannes etc. it was very hot during our stay and although there were fans it was quite uncomfortable at night. This however did not really matter as the stay was a fabulous one with many happy memories to take home with us. Pat was a great host. Welcomed us on arrival with local food and a bottle of wine. Pat was contactable throughout our stay and we would love to return one day soon. So glad we chose this apartment for our trip to Nice, thank you Pat!

Nous sommes une famille avec 2 enfants de 4ans et 7ans. Nous avons séjourné 10jours dans cet appartement. Il est just parfait pour une famille avec 2 enfants Très bien situé, spacieux, tres propre. Vous êtes accueilli par « PAT », femme tres agréable, avec une bouteille de vin, du pain, du fromage, des capsules de café…. Nous ne vous le recommandons pas, car nous souhaitons garder cette adresse pour nous ;) Blague à part, vous pouvez réserver les yeux fermés

I cannot rate this place highly enough. The check-in was seamless and the apartment was spotless and beautifully renovated.

A beautiful apartment situated on a quiet commercial street less than 10 minutes walk from the Promenade des Anglais. Stairs lead up to to the fourth floor. It’s an easy walk, but if you don’t fancy the walk, there is a lift. We occasionally went in it, purely because it was one of those old fashioned quirky lifts with cage style doors, and we wanted the experience of using it. There is a spacious hallway with beautiful tiling, and rooms leading off. The two bedrooms are both large - one twin bedded and one double. The bathroom can be reached via a door that leads from each bedroom. There is also a separate toilet. The bedrooms face the back of the building and are very quiet. The sitting room through dining room is bathed in sunlight throughout the day. The balcony can be accessed through the French doors in both rooms. The balcony is more spacious than the photo shows, and looks down onto a quiet street with some shops. The large kitchen is very well laid out, and equipped with everything you could possibly need. We felt so comfortable in this apartment from the moment we stepped through the door. Pat the manager had provided Juice, bread, cheese , wine and chocolate. This was really handy as it saved us nipping out to get lunch, meaning we could eat on the balcony and take in our new surroundings. The main train station for trips outside of Nice is easily reachable within 5-10 minutes walk. Check out can be flexible and was made exceptionally convenient for us. In fact, this made our last day completely stress free, allowing us to add in a trip to Monte Carlo! Thanks for the warm welcome Pat.

We totally enjoyed our stay on Rue Gounod. Patricia was a delightful hostess providing wine and cheese upon our arrival. Breakfast on the balcony. Easy walk to the metro and very convenient to the train station. Separate WC makes it work. Bathroom renovation is beautiful.

Die Wohnung ist wie beschrieben, einwandfrei und blitzsauber. Die Vermieterin war bei Anreise vor Ort und wir fanden frische Lebensmittel vor. Lage ist perfekt, alles fußläufig zu erreichen. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist unschlagbar. Jederzeit wieder und absolut zu empfehlen!

This apartment is very spacious, clean and comfortable. The layout comprises of a lovely wide hall with the other rooms leading from it. It is very well equiped and the rooms are attractive and well furnished. The terrace at the front is great for breakfast or evening drinks.There is a modern, shared ' Jack and Jill' shower room to the rear of the bedrooms and then a seperate toilet at the end of the hall. We feel the description of the flat as having 2 bathrooms is misleading- better to describe as 'shower room and seperate toilet', in our opinion.Would be a big plus to install another toilet in the shower room- especailly useful when flat is fully occupied.. Pat was great in answering all our queries and assited us with useful info whilst we were there. Thank You !

Great flat for 4 persons with a big balcony with two exits, which made the 7 year old think there were two balconies. Separate WC. Nice big bathroom with shower. Good kitchen. Living room + dining room. Not so much traffic, but still close to railway station. Walking distance to the seaside and to the shopping area. We will for sure book this flat again. Pat and George made our stay very nice and welcoming.

We felt so at home in this lovely sunny apartment close to everything. There was so much light coming in from the large windows and French doors, and the huge balcony was wonderful for al fresco dinners (and drying our washing). The large eat-in kitchen was well resourced, has a washing machine, and is easy for two people to move around in. Both bedrooms were roomy - our large bed in the main bedroom was very comfortable and I wanted to steal the pillows they were so perfect (.. but I didn't). The bathroom was very chic, lots of room and good hot water. Pat met us outside the apartment after our quick walk down from the railway, and provided lots of information on the apartment and its surrounds, as well as a good dose of sunshine from her wonderful personality. We parked our car a 5 minute walk away in a paid parking station and caught local transport around the many adjacent towns and villages, although we did make one momentous trip driving the Grand Corniche and coming back on the Moyenne Corniche .. just for fun. An easy walk to the Old Town and the beach, and quite a few restaurants around the apartment itself. We would LOVE to visit this apartment again. Thanks Pat, you're a gem!
