Once inside lovely apartment

Really nice apartment but 72 steps up in 30C heat was a challenge! Well equipped and spotless. Great restaurant on the corner, recommend the Caipirinha 😀Rod very helpful and his driver took us back to Barcelona airport for half the normal taxi fare.

Excellent

The flat was exactly as the the photograph and description. Although we only used it as a bed and breakfast there was sufficient equipment to produce a full meal. It is in an excellent position for the beach, restaurents, rail and bus stations.

Sitges is vibrant and beautiful town with stunning beaches, a perfect place to getaway. This lively destination offers entertainment for everybody with many local events occurring throughout the year. Many of these attract hundreds of thousands of visitors both from the surrounding areas and abroad, including the 3 King parade in January, the Carnival in February, VIntage Car Rally in March, the Corpus Christi Flower festival, San Juan and Gay pride in June, Fiesta Mayor in August, Santa Tecla in September and the Horror & Science fiction film festival in October, to name a few!!! Known for its many beaches, gastronomic restaurants and superb nightlife, Sitges is an ideal place to come for your holidays.
Getting around
Sitges is located in southern Catalonia just 30 minutes south of Barcelona. Once you arrive in Sitges, you will find everything in close proximity and be able to get around on foot, whether you want to go to the beach, go shopping or eat out in the many fabulous restaurants. In the region there is much to discover including the vinyards of many exceptional wines and cavas. Barcelona is a vibrant city full of history, culture and spectacular architecture. If you get tired of relaxing on the beach during your holiday, you can catch the train just 5 minutes walk to the station, where you will find trains every 15 minutes going to Barcelona. In 35 minutes you will be on the famous Paseo de Gracia with all its luxurious boutiques.
