One of the many features that makes the villa stand apart are its opulent marble floors and large windows and doors which allows for a bright and airy feel to the interior. Each room in the villa opens out onto either the terrace or internal courtyard which are well equipped with sunbeds and outdoor furniture perfect for alfresco dining. The villa offers beautifully furnished modern interiors with an artistic flair. The living area is cosy, decked with an array of books for reading and relaxation, or films that can be enjoyed on the flat screen satellite TV. A large doorway off the living area leads into the elegantly furnished, sundrenched dining room which comfortably seats 6 people. Should you prefer alfresco dining with a magnificent sea view, then look no further then the oversized terrace decked with a marble top table and automatic sun shades. For the avid chef, the compact kitchen, located adjacent to the dining room, is well equipped with all the necessary utensils and equipment including a 5-burner gas hob, oven, microwave, fridge/freezer and dishwasher. The two bedrooms and main bathroom are located down a short corridor off the living room. The main bedroom consists of one double room with flat screen TV, ample wardrobe space and sea views with direct access to the wraparound terrace. The second bedroom has spacious twin bunk beds and access to the internal courtyard. The third bedroom has a separate entrance from the main courtyard of the villa and consists of a double bed with an ensuite bathroom. Here, you will also find a separate laundry room with washing machine, sink and ironing facilities. All the modern conveniences that you’re used to at home such as air-conditioning/heating, Satellite TV, Wi-Fi and indoor/outdoor Bose audio system can be found inside so you can relax and truly enjoy island life. Villa Bougainvillea is only a ten-minute walk from La Piazzetta, the historic square in the center of the town of Capri, and equal distance to Marina Piccola Beach.  A small supermarket and local restaurant are just 300 meters from the property while all the main facilities, such as banks, bars, boutiques are located in Capri town centre. Moving around the island is simple. In additional to moving around on foot, there is a bus stop located very close to the villa, while the open-top taxis are available across the island. A porter service can also be organised to make arrivals and departures a breeze for guests.More

This villa is perfectly located and is absolutely beautiful. The lovely appointed interior with generously sized rooms make it a delight to stay in. Views are amazing and it is situated in such a quiet and secluded position that you think you are the only ones on the island. An amazing outdoor area is ideal for taking in a bit of sun or a spot of outdoor dining. A ten minute walk up the hill puts you in the centre of the action and many choices for shopping and dining. An even shorter walk down the hill offers many choices for lunch, shopping and swimming at Marina Piccolo, Rita greeted us on time and showed us the way to the villa. She also is very attentive and is only too happy to please with any request you may have. The main house accommodates 1 room with a double and a second with twin bunks plus one bathroom. The annex houses another double bed, bathroom and laundry. The house probably could do with a little spruce up paying attention to mould in the main bathroom, other than that the main house was perfect in every way. The annex is a bit of a different problem. The laundry has no ventilation and is quite mouldy and damp. It is separated only by a curtain and this dank odour fills the bathroom and bedroom. The bedroom has only a small window and difficult to vent this odour, making it a little unpleasant to inhabit. Mould in the bathroom also requires attention. Family with 2 children would be ideal in the main house, residing in the annex is not something we would willingly entertain. Perhaps in the middle of summer the annex may be more inhabitable. We really loved this place

We had a great 2 day stay in this lovely home with a great view! It was so nice, we really didn't want to leave! It has a great kitchen, beautiful marble floors, amazing views from the sliding glass doors and deck, and bunk beds for the teens!! We did have trouble making international calls from our cell while in Italy, so it was a bit hard to make contact with our key person, but when we did, we found her to be very nice and helpful!! From the villa, it is a 5 minute walk down many stairs to the beach, or a 10 minute walk up the hill to the main road and the stores and restaurants of the town. We loved it!
