My husband and I decided to stay in a wind mill on the bluff above Setubal. We checked out several possibilities online and decided on Moinho do Luar. Wow! Such a beautiful setting and a lovely place to stay. The kitchen is small but has what is needed. Fresh breakfast rolls are delivered daily. There was orange juice, butter, cheese, and ham in the little fridge. And we had groceries from previous days and weeks in Portugal, so we were well prepared. Plus, one must go into Setubal for Choco Frito (fried cuttlefish) for lunch. We also traveled to Sesimbra along the shore. What a beautiful drive!

The Natural Park of the Estuário do Sado it's a rare and beautiful zone with cultural value. Long zones of dunes and pinewood, rice fields, beautiful beaches, innumerous species of fauna and flora, fishing port stilts, typical houses of the local population that lives in generous conditions from the estuaries and the absence of concrete construction are the formula for success.
Among all of the species that you can observe, the white storks are amazing highlights, an migratory species that can be seen during most of the year. Flamingos and Dolphins.

Arriving at Setúbal go straight ahead as would you go to the ferries, in the direction of the Av. Luísa Todi. Go along the avenue until of find, to your right, a sign that indicates the direction of Castelo Pousada. Go straight ahead through the main road until the bifurcation here you will see the sign of “Há Mar ao Luar” showing you that you should go right around the yellow wall and it's the second iron Gate with some branches.
