The Mumbles is situated on the edge of the Gower Peninsula, and is the perfect place from which to explore this sublime Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Enjoy the vast array of restaurants specialising in local fish which has been hand caught on the west side of Swansea Bay. This property really is in the perfect location to explore a plethora of beaches, with Langland Bay, Caswell Bay and Pwll Du Bay all within 15 minutes. Locally, you can enjoy a host of water sports, including surfing, kayaking and fishing, or explore the many rock pools with your children looking for crabs and shrimps. Swansea is a short drive away with plenty of restaurants, markets, the Maritime Quarter and marina. Why not take in the Dylan Thomas Centre, a permanent exhibition of the world-renowned poet? Within an hour;s drive, and well worth a visit, is the lively capital city of Cardiff with its National Museum of Wales at St Fagan’s, as well as the Cardiff Bay area. Beach 800 yards.
