The week of 8th August is available due to a cancellation, but please note that it is for 6 nights only with a 20% reduction on the normal weekly cost. Slipway Apartment is a modern upmarket apartment on the second floor of a purpose built modern building. It is warm and cosy, heating is included so perfect for winter breaks as well as in summer. There is a lift and pay and display parking is just across the road. Fowey centre, with so much to offer, is just a 5 minute mainly level walk away. There are 2 bedrooms, one with a 5ft bed, the other with a 3 ft bed. The living room has river views and the whole apartment is modern and smart. The ferry to Bodinnick just outside the apartment runs all day and there is seating next to the water here. Great for crabbing and watching the world go by. Fowey has a wealth to do within the town. There are numerous good eateries, both restaurants and bars/pubs including some with terraces on the waterfront; perfect for an afternoon tea or a summers evening. Fowey is renowned for sailing and water activities and it is easy to get on the water. There is a public slipway right outside the apartment, and you can hire canoes and boats locally as well as take boat trips from the bustling town quay. There is plenty of good coastal walking with the famous Hall Walk literally on your doorstep. An excellent choice for a holiday or short break. Please note there is no longer a reserved parking space for Slipway Apartment but the car park is just across the road. More

Fabulous apartment with great location, just a five minute stroll in to town.

This was the first time to Fowey ( Foy), and wow what a wonderful place. A lovely place, beautiful river with lots to see, a good choice of shops, cafes and bars. As the weather was so warm, we enjoyed boat trips across the bay...More

The best place to stay in Fowey

About the neighbourhood
Fowey is a delight. The centre is a five minute mainly level walk away. The walk itself is interesting but there is also plenty to see and do in Fowey itself. Lots of individual shops and galleries as well as eateries for all tastes. You can walk the coast path including the famous hall walk, which is literally on the doorstep. You can get ferries to Polruan and to Mevagissey which makes a good day out and there are good beaches nearby too. Ready money is walking distance and others are reachable by car. Of course the Eden Project and the Lost Gardens of Heligan are only a few miles away.
Getting around
Once at the apartment, you do not need a car in the local area and Fowey has so much to offer. There are also regular buses from the top of town to other places of interest.
