Such a find! we often come and stay 2 weeks at a time from Jersey C.I, a well furnished, comfortable flat, and beds, with all you need for a home from home,and a luxurious bathroom too! A quaint covered veranda for sitting outside rain or shine,with Pirate and Mermaid! detached from the main house, to sit quietly and look at the lovely countryside view, or sit in the large garden in the summer on a quiet rest day from sightseeing (with optional amusement from Frank and his private bar,) Lovely location, Caerleon, with its fascinating Roman History,near all amenities, shops not far, The Hanbury Arms a great place to eat, and always a warm welcome, also The Six Bells. Frank and Alison take such good care of their guests, they have taken me to Sainsburys shopping, and back and forth Newport to meet the Family, We have been staying there a few years now, and twice this year, January ( were lovely and cosy) and July. Couldnt ask for better hosts, and wouldn't stay anywhere else now.
